Unfortunately neither fix seems to get rid of the mouse smoothing.

Are you sure you are editing the correct file? Both methods are tested and verified, but the effect of lowering the polling rate might vary depending on your system.

I must apologize.
Upon further testing I realized I was mistaken about the fixes.
They do, in fact, get rid of the negative acceleration.

(*Note: When I quickly move the camera in-game there seems to be several frames of "stopping lag" which I always contributed to mouse smoothing.
I'm running at high framerates so It's not due to performance. It may be some sort of "effect" that is implemented in a way that is beyond the scope of *.ini commands as I don't have this problem in other games.)
