COD MW/Warzone to apex

Hey @KeyZHostHD

It's in the link I shared

1920x1080, native aspect ratio, 800dpi,  fov 100, cod mw sens: 8.7, FOV type: hdeg 16:9 (as in cod , it's 4:3 in apex I suppose)

ads mouse sens: relative,

ads field of view: I don't know if it's affected/independent. I use default MW settings.

I'd like to convert it to apex 110 fov with the same ADS feeling

using 2 different fov for 2 games can work( especially when the fov = not affected)  but you will have much more consistent results if you match it across all games

matching different FOv values  is ok in apex but as a thing to get used to in general one should stick to one fov across all games because other games don't do so well with

cross fov matching which can read to you having to relearn stuff down the road especially when not using 0%

 

also the difference in speed can be based on the scope fov differences across those games

mistake on my side i use 0% matching by default if you want 133.333 ie 1.33333 modifer this would be it

^this is the closest you can get to having the same feel across both games when still using 1.3333

this includes matching the fov to the same number

1.333333333 has a repeating decimal =1.3

these 2 posts are definitely worth a read btw especially when you re trying to understand the functions of the calculator and how to use it

Thanks, I think your calculator also has 110 fov with fov type "multiplier" and it gives wrong results

i corrected that earlier you might still be using the other one

if you want to raise your fov id highly suggest doing it on all or none

you have not matched your fov to be the same across the 2 games , i mentioned that for this exact reason

you are telling game b to perform scopes scaling at 133.333 as if it was game a  at 133.3333

the other thing you are comparing it to would be telling game a to use 133.333 ads scaling matched to its own fov

 

i didn't mention this for no reason

pick 1 fov and stick to it across all games especially if you want to match 360 distance and something other than 0% ads

its up to you which number you end up using find a decent middle ground (it is the better long term solution to staying consistent )

in case of apex and cod it's hard to pick the same fov because cod fov is max 120,  to get apex 110 fov it would need to be 125 if i'm right, depends on the game. One game feels better with higher fov, other feels worse. It seems like converting one fov to another does something weird with sensitivity multipliers. E.g. converting 110 16:9 fov to 110 4:3 fov from cod to apex

the first part  is factually incorrect and the second part is exactly why i mentioned using a middle ground is because that is the only way you can achieve a level of uniformity or much rather consistency in your aim/ movement

I got used to relative /uniform soldier aiming. I actually switched to 178% vertical monitor distance (or 100% horizontal monitor distance) recently. It seems like I should be using the same fov or just convert apex to apex to get correct scalars. This feels too high (110 cod fov to 110 apex fov):

-then tweak it and actively try to fit your ideal across all games  that was my whole point

do it through the auto fov function for actual results and make sure you are using the config file for apex

^this is crucial for uniform hipfire / movement

i explained this above you were matching two different fovs tho which made the whole thing scale different thus the different numbers
