Consistent enough "High" Mouse Sensitivity? [20-35cm/360]

Recommended Posts

Hey :) Hope you have a nice day so far!

Firstly, i have made many posts to many topics about sensitivity and all around, many say that choose what is comfortable, i have been switching and using almost any sensitivity range for some months now, and i am comfortable with all of them and doing good. [70-20cm/360]
Now, its hard to go for"choose whats comfortable for you" as you can imagine.
(I play all kind of games (BF1/5 MW 2019, CS etc.) so i also want to have this cm/360 in every game i play, thats why pls dont answer with different games need different sensitivity, thank you very much! <3)

Thats why i want to know some suggestions on Consistent Sensitivitys, my prefferences are a highisch/mid sens because my idol Relaaa and guys from Team EXE are using a for me highisch sens, and since their fast paced flicky aggressive playstyle is EXACTLY what i enjoy watching AND doing, i would love for some expierienced players to hear some consistent cm/360 suggestions kinda like idk 28cm for example. Now i would also like to hear why you would suggest it and why you think it would suit the purpose perfectly. The reason i struggle with just going for it since its all comfortable for me is, i maybe would like to go competitive and as i mentioned, i would like to be consistent with my aim and not needing to warm up an hour playing till my aim is crisp enough to play online seriously. I cant play everyday eather because of work so here again, for me as high as possible to play snappy/flicky like relaa/Team EXE while staying consistent/low enough to not be a bot after not playing for one day :P

Of course, i am most grateful for everyone trying to help me and giving me tips/suggestions!
Thanks for your precious time, thanks for reading all this and THANKS for trying to help, many people dont seem to appreciate it enough, so let me say it from the bottom of my heart: Thanks for your time and effort! <33

there is no 1 "godsense" but given your sens range id suggest trying out raw accel https://www.kovaak.com/mouse-acceleration/

pretty much the only way to combine both advatages of high and low sense there is a discord dedicated to raw accel https://discord.gg/khGupWe9cV

if you are willing to go against popular uninformed bullshit theory about "hurr durr accel bad" then you might  be positiveely suprised

as far as ads sens gooes i mostly stick to 0% / focal lenght match

I already used raw accel but didnt like it, i am aware that accel is not the typical "ITS BAD IT MESSES UP YOUR AIM" its just windows one is just....bläh.
Quake for instance has pretty good accel :)

But i never asked for a god sensitivity, just some suggestions based on ur expierience/knowledge and why you would suggest it ^w^ Thanks for your reply!
I appreciate your precious time!

Also support theme with acceleration. Starting to study this topic, I realized one truth. People who play little should use acceleration. Muscle memory in the communication of the players does not make sense. The very structure of acceleration is inherent in the work of the muscles, it is enough to adjust the curve to feel the continuation of your hand in the game. Only many hours of practice will produce a result comparable to your expectations in a fixed sensitivity, acceleration changes the rules. Acceleration teaches you to relax and tighten muscles for smooth and sharp movements, people think that they are training sensitivity in the game, but in fact neuromuscular connection. Also, after several months of using the acceleration, you can easily return to the fixed sensitivity and continue playing with a good result. What kind of miracle is this? and here is the neuromuscular connection, which is formed for a long time and does not stop.

Here is the formula why the sensation of speed at 60 and 120 HFoV is different, but the path at 360 remains the same.

I've been playin UT and Quake series competitively on 18-19cm/360 no accel and eventho i managed to achieve good results in tournaments that setup requered me to have my wrist placed on the edge of the table very firmly to deny all the overaiming by uncessery motions and fluctuations aswell as the need for lots of concentration and being inshape. After experimenting with lowering sens i can say that the fastest you can go without that need of too much concentration while being able to stabily hit long range hitscan shots and heads in games like CS etc, which i also play from time to time caually, starts somewhere from 24+cm(9,5 inches). Its still fast enough but easier controlable.

Also your statement about longer warmup time needed for lower sens is kinda wrong. Actually its the opposite: the higher the sens the more time it requeres to get the feel of that microcontrol, micromotions and microcorrections, while the lower it gets the more its like rowing sport lol, it might be more exhauting phyically for muscles but at the same time no need for accuracy of a surgeon. So basically it would take longer to get in shape if you are playin rarely and on a high sens then on a low one.

As for accel i would say dont mess with it unless you dont have that much time to practice, it might feel more intuitive to use at first, but in a long run it takes more time to master compared to fixed sens value.

Im not much into BF or Apex but it took me a minute to find out that your idol Relaa use 34.6cm/360 which isnt too highsens as you mentioned. So if you want to have similar playstyle you can just copycat his settings and stick with those forever since ~35cm is kinda average and suitable sens for any fps game either its fastpaced arena shooter like Quake or a tactical slower one like Cs,Valorant or whatever. But note that different fov across games also matters on a sensitivity perception so you might want to use monitor distance calculation instead of cm/360 when goin from one game to another. I personally use 100% horizontal
