  1. Just in case anyone is having this issue, if you make a .reg file and put it on your desktop you can change your sens back quickly in case you need to change ingame settings. The game will respect registry changes midgame, so you can change graphics settings, etc. and then run the .reg and get your sens back. For example, what I have set up is Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\IronGate\Valheim] "MouseSensitivity_h2921938665"=hex(4):00,00,00,c0,60,e5,00,40 Replace the red letters and numbers with whatever sens you get in the calculator.
  2. Is it just me or does it reset everytime you change a setting in the menu
  3. @DPI Wizard I actually really feel comfortable with the ads scaling in this game. Is it based on a certain mdh?
  4. Hi, I had read in a few threads about an idea that I think Drimzi had, where people might benefit from amplifying the 0% match (focal length) by a specific amount. For example, one might like to use 0% match but with a 1.1x (or 10%) multiplier. Is this possible to implement in the calculator?
  5. hows the ADS analysis going? is it based off of a %match for all scopes?
  6. Hi. Here's my issue. By far the best method of scope conversion for me is 100% horizontal monitor match. My question is should I match the hipfire across FOV's at 100% or 0%? Example:. I play Black ops 4 at 120 FOV with 1.78 as my ads coefficient. When converting to CSGO or overwatch hipfire should I do so at 100% or 0% match?
  7. my settings file keeps resetting to the last used ingame setting for mouse sens. Anyone know od a way to stop that? read-only doesn't work
  8. Hey Dpi Wizard, any update on matching the viewspeed to the third person FOV?
  9. the FOV's used to match at are first person. Any chance on a third person version? I use 3rd person when running around and for targeting
  10. any chance you'll get around to helping us figure out the sensitivities to use for 4X, 8x, and 15x to match monitor distance to normal? Also, any chance you could figure out a way to match the ADS sens ingame as well as in config? I'd like to match the ADS to my R6Siege Holo Sens
  11. This is why I wanted my screen match at 50% horizontal. Rainbow Six Siege is my game of choice and the game I am the best at. Its ACOG setting is matched at 50%, so it feels natural to me. Also 50% seems like the best compromise to me, as it limits the maximum distance from the correct value. In a sense, 50% is the most accurate if you average all of the possible movements. But if you're a tracking sniper, you may prefer somewhere around 5%. A flick Shotting AWPer might want something near 100%. I chose the all-rounder.
  12. if the distance is 50% to the top, then that's 270 pixels. I want it to match at 480 pixels.
  13. Yes, but it does so by trying to match your movement at a specific screen distance. The coefficient tells the system at what distance to match.
  14. I'm not talking about FOV. Is the link wrong?
  15. A dev post said that the formula was distance from crosshair to the top of the screen times the coefficient. That gives the horizontal pixel distance to match at. the reason it defaults to 1.33 is because 1.33 is 4/3. That means that on a 4/3 monitor the distance to match at is the screen's edge. for 16:9, the distance from crosshair to top of screen is 540. Halfway to the screen's edge is 480 pixels. So the formula for the coefficient should be 540 x (coefficient) = 480. So the coefficient is .888888 or at least that's my understanding http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2979150494051524581/
  16. Am I correct in thinking that to match the USA at 50% screen distance I need to set it to .888888 at 16:9?
  17. I think my post might have been confusing. I meant to say that I used 75 ADS setting, not 75 match at..
  18. Hi, I realize that iron sights requires 75 for 1:1 SD. What is the ACOG setting for 1:1 Screen distance?
