  1. If the game supports 6 decimal points, why does the calculator only show 2?
  2. Name: Paragon: The Overprime Website: https://paragon.netmarble.com/en Status: Final Test Release date: Coming soon Availability: Free, Request Access Sensitivity Option under Controls, first menu is for specate. Goes from 1-100 no decimals. Uses Unreal Engine 4.
  3. I see you've already got this feature when converting to Windows/Desktop Sensitivity. However as some games have less than desirable granularity in their sensitivity options, being shown the best DPI setting for your game and mouse's limitations would be greatly appreciated.
  4. It seems you were doing different calculations in the past. By leaving the FOV in the R6 sections of the input as default (60) and Selecting Hipfire instead of ADS in the Warface section, you get your expected calculation of .003487. Keep in mind that the calculator settings above the inputs will also change the output (matching to viewspeed instead of 360 distance etc.) It may be helpful for you to read through the conversion options section of this post.
  5. Some pictures of the intended calculation and what you put into the config file would be helpful. It sounds like maybe you changed the MouseYawSensitivity without changing the MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit. You can get finer granularity by setting your intended sensitivity lower than the default 50 in the calculator to get a more accurate calculation with less discrepancy (I set mine to 1). As another aside, your sensitivity may feel slower or faster depending on what the FOV of the game is. Warface has a locked fov of 60 vertical degrees. Siege has a FOV slider in the options menu which is in vertical degrees aswell, so setting that to 60, or using one of the Viewspeed calculation options will give you better results.
  6. Upon further inspection, there seems to be an editable .ini file for APB. requires account relog for options to take effect but they do persist. Config file: UserOptions.ini Path: [GAMEINSTALLDIRECTORY]\APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config\Account\[USERID] MouseSensitivity= Minimum: MouseSensitivity=0.01 Default: MouseSensitivity=40 Maximum: MouseSensitivity=140 MarksmanshipMouseSensitivity= Minimum: MarksmanshipMouseSensitivity=0.01 Default: MarksmanshipMouseSensitivity=40 Maximum: MarksmanshipMouseSensitivity=140 CharacterCameraViewScalar= Minimum: CharacterCameraViewScalar=0.000000 Default: CharacterCameraViewScalar=-1.000000 (Sets to 0 in game) Maximum: CharacterCameraViewScalar=1.000000 VehicleCameraViewScalar= Minimum: VehicleCameraViewScalar=0.000000 Default: VehicleCameraViewScalar=-1.000000 (Sets to 0 in game) Maximum: VehicleCameraViewScalar=1.000000 bEnableMouseSmoothing=False You can also edit the DefaultUserOptions.ini under \APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config and use that to swap between settings assuming it was edited before the account is logged into. If you want to make a change to either ini without completely restarting the game, you an edit the .ini, Return to lobby (logout), and join a district. This will grab the new settings for use in game. It would be interesting to see how much camera position has an effect on Viewspeed/Monitor Distance calculations. Many players choose the most zoomed out setting (1.0) to have an easier time looking around corners without exposing yourself to gunfire.
  7. I think I'm going to retract my statement about different sensitivity on the same FOV as I can't seem to replicate it. They may of changed it or I was mistaken many years back. However, could you bring back the ability to change the FOV in the calculation? Different weapons still have different FOV's depending on their base stats and modifications. These are visable on the APBDB.com website. The default rifle in the game is 45 FOV for ADS and the default pistol is 60 FOV for ADS. Having a DPI shift calculation would still be nice so you could have your marksmanship tuned for both weapons but one has to use a DPI shift button. Thanks! TLDR: Bring back option to change FOV in calculation. Also DPI Shift Calculation Suggestion
  8. I'd like to note that, unless recently changed, the ADS sensitivity is different depending on the weapon (even if its the same FOV). So noting which weapon you recorded the sensitivity on is helpful. Hopefully that will change in the future so we can have FOV Relative sensitivity scaling instead of whatever random number the devs feel is right. Also I have a question about using the different FOV Relative options, given the option of moving the camera further back or forward with + and -, does that affect the calculation in any significant manner? I'm not exactly sure how you would be able to consistently change the camera position, other than using the closest or furthest available option. For games with much to be desired sensitivity options, I'd like to have some sort of DPI Shift calculation for a macro (a 'sniper' button).
  9. Name: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Website: https://store.steampowered.com/app/489830/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim_Special_Edition/ Status: Release Release date: Oct 27, 2016 Availability: If you already own Skyrim and all the DLC, you will automatically receive the Special Edition for free on October 28, 2016. It will be in your game library and listed as “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition”. Otherwise Purchase Something tells me there is a lot of crossover for the settings of Fallout 4. FOV 90 doesn't feel correct so I'm guessing it uses horizontal res base now instead of 4:3. Runs on a different engine from the original Skyrim. fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX can be added to the SkyrimPrefs.ini under the [Display] section, so you don't have to open console every time you launch the game.
  10. I think input frequency might be tied to frame rate. Friend has a key and seems to think there is mouse accel, he capped FPS and it went away. Could be placebo but might be worthwhile looking into. Would be sad if that was the case, not gonna play with variable sensitivity in a competitive game...
  11. So with different guns and scopes altering FOV for ADS, what does FOV Relative Sensitivity do? The author of the mod you listed also has a mod altering this setting but I'm not sure what exactly is changes. https://modworkshop.net/mod/25342 Seeing as its extremely difficult to consistently use the viewspeed calculation across multiple titles, I'm thinking about going back to MDH 75% or MDV 133% as that would allow me to have parity across CSGO, CoD, Battlefield, PUBG, etc. Most titles are seeming to follow the Universal Soldier Aim sensitivity options, so I'd like to have that match across all my games.
  12. Oh, if you want to get rid of the discrepancy you need to select config instead of in game in the lower right corner.
  13. What are you trying to achieve? The calculator should allow you to select 360 distance if that is what you are trying to match between the two games. Just select advanced mode instead of simple.
  14. @DPI Wizard not sure if this is of any use to you for the calculator but Ubisoft just made a blog post showing all the mulitpliers for FOV and Sens https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/en-gb/news/detail.aspx?c=tcm:154-346294-16&ct=tcm:154-76770-32 Still no separate sliders but a DPI shift key on a mouse could work i suppose
  15. I assume you are referring to the previous topic in march 2018? I was just requesting Vertical sens be added to the calculation.
  16. If you are also matching the FOV across all those titles they shouldn't feel any different. Its probably best to just stick to one sensitivity to build up muscle memory. In the event you can't match the FOV, you can try out the Viewspeed option in the calculator to get a similar feel.
  17. First time trying this game out, the vertical sens still seems to be slower than what I'm used to. They do have a Vertical sensitivity option if you could take a look into that @DPI Wizard
  18. I believe its the third person targeting option. Like pubg when you hold rclick instead of clicking.
  19. It definitely does feel a bit different even on 16:9. It might just be the viewmodel but I'd like to see this game get re-evaluated just to be sure.
  20. @DPI Wizard Planning on playing this with a friend this weekend. I'm not sure what the settings are like for this game, but adding it would be nice if you already own it. Much appreciated
  21. Free with Twitch Prime right now, could you add it to the calculator?
  22. Warframe now shows and allows you to enter a value for most settings. However, it doesn't allow decimal points, but you can still move the slider in between points as per usual (the value on the side rounds up to display the nearest number without decimal). The FOV slider is from 52-78 which I presume is vertical degrees. (Note that the FOV setting doesn't affect FOV when in the ship). Perhaps these things can be reflected in the calculator?
