  1. Beta has what I would expect to be the final FOV and aim adjustment. This game is really good and guessing it's going to have an awesome community. On Steam if you just request access you're playing it next day. Any chance this is going to get looked at here or does it need to be out entirely before ending up with settings. Would highly recommend you all give it a try.
  2. Did you check vertical by chance? I'm going to check when I get back home. I read players settings where getting reset. It may be that for me.
  3. This is more about Warzone Season 3 but I wasn't sure where to drop this. Aim feels radically different to me. I've seen a lot of people complain about aim assist being different but of course mouse player here and it just doesn't seem right. I know they implemented the kernel level Anti cheat so maybe that has the game feeling off due to frame changes or something. I originally I thought maybe my FOV was busted but doubled back and its the same. Maybe I need to verify my sensitivity in game hasnt changed. Can anyone else confirm?
  4. It's looking like a snack. Is this getting added anytime soon?
  5. Is this accurate? In game FOV slider goes to 120. Calculator max shows 104. Config FOV: Field Of View Scaling 104 FOV is set to maximum as target FOV is above maximum.
  6. Nice! Thank you! Really just interested in CO-OP and it’s on sale for $19.99. Was thinking of grabbing a couple of copies and read they fixed a ton of stuff like FOV, FPS, and others. I’ll play around with it. As always, thank you!
  7. This thread may actually save me from buying. Did the devs ever fix this? I was looking for a close 1:1 of 15ish inches 360 and FOV hdeg 107. Is that possible or is it the same where you’d need some hacks.
  8. Consoles crash with this game and I legit had the bug where I couldn't plate tonight lol. Stim glitch, guns that break the game, invisible characters... the list is insane Its fun but trash. No excuse for a company that made 5 billion off it since launch.
  9. No way. Try Warzone. That has more bugs than a crack house it’s almost like the community is being trolled. I have never seen anything like it.
  10. Thank you everyone. I had really been struggling and placed Gold after my solo queueing and that’s not normal. I was just a bit off at every engagement. I’ve been on other titles and can’t wait to test this but just being off a bit and you’re spectating. I love TH and just found I needed to send it there as a warm up because warming up with other titles with same sens and FOV just wasn’t working with this title. I didn’t have a chance to test but this gives me some hope!
  11. I’ve been losing my mind with this game as nothing seems to convert. So to confirm, sounds like the freaking raw input is wrong. This is my sanity check because wtf Ubisoft. This has to be the most troubling title to support. It’s always something.
  12. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=306e7a992a671a42c38a0477a4ed6b73 Had no idea that was a thing!! Thank you again!!!!
  13. @DPI Wizard I wanted to quickly ask if anything has changed with conversions. I run monitor distance co efficient @ 1.78 on COD, low and high @ 1. For the MDV I enter 178 to 0 (maybe 177.8 not at a place I can check) 16:9 for everything but is this correct? (That’s my monitor distance coefficient). Asking as it still feels off and reading above the ADS was 75? I can easily change whatever I need to so these feel are more in line. If that means changing cod to 133 coefficient it’ll take no time to adjust. What’s the proper workflow here (even if just your opinion) if it’s changed. It feels off when ADS. Close, but off. @fortunate reee any expertise I can drag out of you on this? Thank you so much!!
  14. I’ve assumed that but looking forward to an answer. With the man himself on overwatch here, hoping DPI Wizard can chime in. I wanted to quickly ask if anything has changed with conversions. I run monitor distance co efficient @ 1.78 on COD, low and high @ 1. For the MDV I enter 178 to 0 (maybe 177.8 not at a place I can check) 16:9 for everything but is this correct? (That’s May monitor distance coefficient). Asking as it still feels off and reading above the ADS was 75. I can easily change whatever I need to so these feel are more in line. 15. Thanks again I truly appreciate you. I guess I’ve been over complicating it. For hipfire in your screenshot it shows 133% is this due to the monitor distance coefficient only being activated when you ads? I still don’t understand it I just know that I can 180 and laser someone and I’m willing to accept it’s luck if the math isn’t adding up but I need to be buying lottery tickets! I figured if I took for example on COD, SMG, Irons/Reflex and and it had an FOV similar to 1.0 or 1.5 on Siege, (just a made up example as I can’t access the calculator now) that would give me the speed and movement distance the closest to what I’d be used too but something definitely felt off. I’m also extremely clumsy as I’ve gotten a new mouse and buttons needed remapped but aim felt off. The FOV of 112.33 was what I came up with based on my original Siege FOV of 80. I’ve said this before but literally some of us and I’ll openly admit myself (pretty obvious), goes full on idiot with this and I have no idea why. I’ve read and read the instructions. I should flat out be ashamed considering what I do professionally as a career but man it just doesn’t click. I am happy there are people like you with the patience and willingness to help. I visually imagine DPI Wizard as floating on a cloud of infinite patience lol. I know I’m not the only one who struggles with this. I believe it was you who months ago recommended just moving away from 4:3 and with all the time off from Siege it seems worth it. It doesn’t drive me insane to look at now so I used 16:9. Siege @ 80 FOV 16:9 to match COD FOV @ 112.33. MDV 177.78 to 100. Choose all and all and bam that’s it? I’ve been doing each one individually. So ads, ACOG, and now 1, 1.5 and so on. First question, is my monitor distance coefficient completely ridiculous? If I need to make some changes because math and science and all that stuff now would be a good time considering how broken COD is. (First weapons glitch, now dipping with no optics that was new as of last night, rebuilt 3 different classes, than you have the one tap Famas shotgun good gosh). One thing bothering me is I’ve been debating dropping FOV down a bit since 80 FOV was my Siege @ 4:3. Now that it’s 16:9 maybe the closest equivalent is 74 or something I don’t know. Since my reps are higher on COD for now, I can make the adjustments, acclimate fast due to volume of targets and will know what to work with on Siege with the new scope sensitivities. Couldn’t agree more on the grip types. I’ve tried and do fine but just not as comfortable though the Micro movement with fingertips are nice I have to actively think about it and that a lone kills the time I’d save.
  16. Thanks as always. I am top 9% in the world for wins and kd and have done well financially in tournaments as a result. I’m hoping to just bounce my COD settings to Siege as the bugs in COD are killing me (literally lol) What I did was use horizontal vs vertical and I see 360 shows 133. I’m guessing my 1.78 vs 1.33 makes no difference? I than went and checked each optics FOV and matched that to the FOV closest or on point in Siege. Is that methodology completely wrong due to how the calculator works? I’m just hoping to have exact feel/distance movement on mouse with FOV. I know there are likely better methods for example I should be using claw aim or finger tip as I know it’s advantages over palm for example (more hybrid here) but when I make variations the numbers don’t lie so I’m trying to stay on that line. Sounds like the screenshot will accomplish that? I’ll double check mine tonight. You’ve helped me before and now again and I truly want to thank you for taking the time. It’s a precious resource we never get back. Thank you again and to everyone else always helping. I don’t forget so know you guys are being thought about in an awesome light out there at random.
  17. oh lawd here we go again. Matching to my COD, what should I be using for my ADS and Scope? 0-100%? Horizontal or Vertical? Even matching FOV and speed feels off.
  18. One of the best things I have paid for. So glad I grabbed Lifetime. Appreciate everything Wizards.
  19. I agree you don’t need to play with a stretched screen to be competitive. It’s definitely best to match as much as possible across the board. I think what we’re seeing is folks that are used to 4:3 stretched in a game, perception of movement and the precision required for high level game play being a large factor. Let’s say your champion in siege. That’s .193% of 50 million players. You don’t want to start over necessarily changing things and the feeling is unmistakable switching. Finding the most common balance for 4:3 stretched to 16:9 makes playing other games not such a hassle. That has been my big thing. I hate bouncing to other games as when I come back to Siege it takes a bit for my dumbass to adjust back. I’ve tried the 16:9 and that’s a huge no in both look and feel unfortunately. At the end of the day, no way to get it done but it’s been fun exploring. I’m stilling trying to understand some of the science and of course what is most practical method for the one stupid game I play in 4:3 but the game I play the most. I wish I would have never tried 4:3 but no going back. Have a great day!
  20. Take your preferred FOV in 4:3 stretched and take a screenshot. Now use that image as a reference for 16:9 changing the FOV to compare images until it’s close. No idea how it happens, but when you move you’ll notice you’re significantly slower on 16:9 and it wrecks havoc on the brain. Probably because you had to drop to low to mid 60s. While object size matters, you’re sacrificing speed (meaning perception of physical character movement not aim speed) by comparison.
  21. @DPI Wizard Bug? How does ADS affect 4:3 stretched? If it doesn't the calculator should not revert to native when you chose different aim options, i.e. hipfire, ADS, or anything in that list. This is option is awesome. What is most practical, Game with Vdeg in 2560 x 1440 4:3 stretched you're trying to convert to one that is 2560 x 1440 Native Hdeg 16:9. This lines out the actual VFOV to my desired 80 FOV on both games. I believe what a person would want in all instances is the Actual HFOV to match. (for example HFOV is for main game 96, converting game is 112, of course VFOV is the same at 80). I believe you'd want matching HFOV due to being you move more horizontally than vertically meaning targets side to side vs up and down and for closest setting they should have the closest HFOV as possible, not VFOV. Am I understand this correctly? If this is the case, what should AUTO FOV be set too for a game that is built for Vdeg and you use 80. At this point, do you just use AUTO FOV On, Target FOV 80 and FOV Type to Vdeg and adjust manually on convert to game until the HFOV matches? (it drops from 112 to 96 to mach HFOV.) Using ADS\Scope Monitor Distance Viewing 0-100%, would this be the correct method in the stretched instances or is there a better option?
  22. If I may make a suggestion, grab aim lab (Free on Steam) and add the FOV in AIM LAB and resolution you play at. Add the profile of whatever game you're best at and run the various training modules like tracking, speed, things like that. Once you have your go to sensitivity jump on the calculator. You'll know as it'll be the best scores. My method is to match the FOV as much as possible. If I can't, I want Actual Horizontal FOV. An example is if you play COD 2019 and don't want to make it 4:3 but you play Siege 4:3 or CS GO 4:3 you won't get a perfect match, its going to be off. You have to decide what you want to do in terms of each game. I force what I can to 4:3 because its what I prefer. Ignore my actual numbers, this is my method, I use the Auto FOV for my desired game. Siege uses VDeg so I set Auto FOV ON: Target FOV to say 80 (its what you prefer for you main game) and FOV Type to VDeg (use whatever game you are converting. Siege uses VDeg but COD for example uses Hdeg 16:9. This is easiest to break down. I use Monitor Distance Horizontal on ADS and Scope @ 0% to 100%. I do this because there is far more horizontal movement than vertical. No idea if that is the right way. I choose In game location (not game settings). Set hip fire under AIM drop down for BOTH games. Set sensitivity I want at 360 degrees distance matched. So for example if its 15 inches in Siege to do a 360 turn, its 15 inches in COD. Remember, you must have the same FOV. You know these match when you look at the calculations and see Actual VFOV: and Actual HFOV: are identical for both games and see they both match. Grab that number, for example I am converting Siege to COD, so under Calculations the number for COD is 10 I choose aim drop down on Siege and choose ADS, I put my ADS speed in the Siege calculator since this is what I am converting. Lets say it is 50. On COD calculations, I would put the value I got from my hipfire conversion which ended up being 10. Make sure you choose the drop down you're working with, in this instance ADS on Siege to whatever I am trying to run on COD (SMG\Iron). In this example the FOV do not match up but they are close. Whatever calculation that came up under game you are converting too is what you want. If something is off here I am interested in learning but this is what I have done. I will happily edit so I am not putting bad info out there.
  23. Have you went through the instructions threads? I ask because I beat my head against the wall for months trying to figure this shit out. Well, in my infinite ignorance or eagerness to just make it all work so I could just play I didn’t even realize there was a thread about using calculator that addressed a lot of my “gotchas” I was running into. For Siege, I went with the lower between ADS and ACOG. So if I was given 50 ADS and 40 for ACOG I went with 40. There are a few reasons for this. You edit your .ini if you’re using that but I just did it in game because Ubisoft is fucking idiots and won’t make individual scope sensitivities. Btw, submit that bug if you want to make a difference. You’ll see the link on the calculator side.
  24. You’re such a legend! I still don’t understand why we’d put MDV to 75% at all if we already factor that in when entering the coefficient under multiplier 1. Couldn’t I have just left that at 100 and entered .75 under multiplier 1 which is what it’s for? In the future, if I use MDV 0% and enter my COD settings that is the way to go? <— last question! Thank you again!!!
  25. This is making so much more sense. Especially changing the FOV to Hdeg res to match the default of game converting and entering the value to do the conversion. Why did you choose monitor distance vertical for scope and ads though? This was set to 100 and 75% why? COD is 1.33 and I changed it to 1. Shouldn’t that be 1.33 at 75% to 1 @ 100%? I believe in COD the coefficient only impacts ADS. When I made this change it felt most Siege like. Nothing to back that up so I’m really hoping to understand why this was picked. If I am understanding correctly, setting my coefficient to 1 means it’s 100% top to bottom (vertical) for the same amount movement hip fire or zoomed. This is confusing to me because when I convert the following, COD SMG Iron Sight Reflex 8.68 Mouse sensitivity Sensitivity 2: Mouse Distance Coefficient 1 Multiplier 1 ADS Speed Low Zoom .75 (360 @ 25.0771 inches) Siege shows ADS (Iron Sight/Red Dot/Reflex 10 mouse sensitivity Sensitivity Aim Down Sights 53 (ADS Ironsight. yours is 73) (360 @ 24.6981 inches) What I believe I’ve done is convert hip fire and hip fire and ads and ads. That is what I wanted. What it looks like you’ve done is converted all sensitivities to 15.7101 Inches to 360. Unless I’m missing something I clearly choose not to have a 1:1 for ADS which is why I went with .75 for the ADS sensitivity multiplier. If I’m wanting to convert the actual 360 distance with my COD for both ADS (SMG IRON specifically) and hip fire (two different 360 distances) to other games what is the best method to achieve that so it’s not only the same physical mouse movement distance but also what you see in game? I use COD to warm up due to the flicks and fast pace before jumping into Siege so I’m trying to set a baseline with the correct understanding so when I move to other games. Is there a better way to do what I’m trying to accomplish or am I just off with my thought process? Is it possible for the calculator to take into account and do the conversion for separate hip fire and ads speeds? What works best for me is hip fire ret on target and ads slowed down for precision. Can the calculator take my COD values and convert hipfire to hipfire and ads to ads and so on? Maybe I should 1 for 1 my games for 25.0771 inches for hipfire and ads? Thank you again so much. This has been something I return to consistently but you’re getting me there finally. I’m grateful!!
