  1. BF4 use vertical FOV in config file (PROFSAVE_profile), at ur screenshot u have 74 vertical FOV (Vdeg) and in brackets horizontal FOV for 4:3 aspect ratio it's 90.270867, but game rounds up to 90, because before patch BF4 used horizontal FOV for 4:3 AR, developers just changed it to vertical FOV and hor FOV for 4:3 put in brackets so people can match what they used before.
  2. Yes I don't care about this input lag (delay) by different DPI because this don't affect to game for me, but how fact why many peoples try now 1600 DPI and reason for smooth movement crosshair in game with lowest in game sens, but 400 DPI feeling more stable than 800/1600 DPI, but when we using 20-30cm/360 or faster sens in-game this more hard for effective using 400 DPI and 800 DPI looking better for this range, I'm think subjectively: 400 DPI u want using in game sens not faster 20-30cm/360° 800 DPI = not faster than 10-15cm/360° 1600 DPI not faster 5-7.5cm/360° But u can always going lower and have more angles for smooth movement Good article for this: https://www.wepc.com/tips/cpi-vs-dpi/ 300-3200 DPI is looking strange range, because sensors have better performance usually between 400-2000 DPI and u don't want using in windows 5/11, 7/11, 8/11, 9/11, 10/11, 11/11 pointer speed because u have inconsistent and pixel skipping in 2D.
  3. Hello, I'm see most pro's in FPS using 400 and 800 DPI, but lately more and more peoples choose 1600 DPI because battle(non)sense made video about low latency: https://youtu.be/mwf_F2VboFQ And we can see what most pro's in CS:GO, Valorant, R6S stay with 400 DPI and in Overwatch, Fortnite, PUBG, Apex Legends stay with 800 DPI, I'm know what more DPI we have than more sensitive sensor, because 1/400 DPI = 0.00635 cm, 1/800 DPI = 0.003175 cm, 1/1600 DPI = 0.0015875cm => this reason why 400 DPI feeling more stable for human factor - hand shaking, but in games lower sens make more smooth camera turn and for example we want 34.6cm/360° in CS:GO we set 400 DPI / 3 sens => this 5455 counts for 360° turn camera in game, 800 DPI / 1.5 sens => 10909 counts, 1600 DPI / 0.75 sens => 21818 counts, in first example 400/3 we have stable movement for hands because sensor with 400 DPI not so sensitive but multiplier sens in game is high and we have slightly jerky camera when doing small movements in game (good for switching between targets for close/med distance), but in third example 1600/0.75 we have very smooth camera and many angles when we can place crosshair (perfect for far distance) but 1600 DPI so feeling for hand shaking and second example 800/1.5 is balance for both not so feeling for shaking hands and camera is smooth when we set normal sens (for CS:GO almost nothing using higher than 4.0 sens) and we have comfortable cursor speed in windows / game menu / inventory / buy menu for only using wrist for 1920x1080, for 400 DPI u want using arm + wrist for navigation and 1600 DPI for using ur fingers. This is an interesting question for me and I would like to know from community what do u prefer to use most often and ur reason for this?
  4. Hello, I'm want to know formulas what using BF3 and BF4 for sensitivity in counts (hipfire) For example CS:GO using formula: 360 / (sensitivity * m_yaw) = counts 360 / (3*0.022) = 5455 counts (there 3.0 sens for example) But in BF3/4 we can set sensitivity like is 0.000000 in PROFSAVE_profile, in BF4 we can use negative sens under 0.000000 to -0.004900 and BF3/4 have not linear sens for BF3 800 DPI / 0.04 sens not same like 400 DPI / 0.08 this correct for 400 DPI / 0.085 for same distance 48.2cm/360°. My question what m_yaw using BF3 and BF4? And what formulas for counts for this games? Because formula like in CSGO and other games not working for BF3/4
  5. This has a discrepancy because mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0 has an impact on two different ADS like 1X Scope / ADS (SMG, SG, Pistol) - 88.531166 FOV (16:9 Hdeg) in your case and ADS (AR, LMG, Sniper) - 82.109242 FOV (16:9 Hdeg) and since FOV for them is different, and slider for adjustment is one, then you need to choose from these two which you prefer, I personally would choose conversion for 1X Scope / ADS (SMG, SG, Pistol) - 1.089236 sens, because it's perfect for 1X HCOG, 1X Holo Sight, 1X Digital Threat Sight and for Ironsights for SMG, SG, Pistol (not for RE-45), when ADS (AR, LMG, Sniper) only for Ironsights not for 1X Scopes, So the choice is yours, but developers, of course, should have separated these two increases from each other for different sensitivity sliders, and so we have what we have
  6. Yes this same what doing USA for 0% (vertical coefficient) in BF4
  7. Thx for fast answer, yes I tried MDH/MDV 0% for ADS from hipfire FOV and this work good, but not after BF3 zoom rds sens feeling little bit fast for me
  8. Hello dudes, I played for many years in BF3 and would like to convert ADS (Iron sight, Reflex, Kobra) to BF4 for 1X (Coyote, HD-33, Holo, Kobra, PKA-S, Reflex) with same feeling, but I had problems with this, standard value in BF4 is zoom sens - 100%, for me it feels slowly, it is coefficient 0.6 multiplied by sensitivity from hipfire, BF3 have a 0.5 coefficient for RDS, I also tried to use "uniform soldier aiming" (USA) at different coefficients 0% / 100% / 133% / 178% they all almost didn’t differ in sens, everything is also faster than in bf3 , I think I need something between 100% of zoom sens and USA, perhaps a coefficient of 0.7-0.8 (117% -133%) for zoom sens judging by my feelings, I also use "FOV scaling in ADS" - on, so BF3 have big zoom in RDS it's fixed fov hor+ 51.77 for 4:3 ratio or fov 40 vert-, and in bf4 I have a minimal zoom in RDS near what I use for hipfire, in both games I have same fov for hipfire it's 100 for BF3 (because this game use hor fov for 4:3 ratio) and in BF4 fov set to 84 (hor+ 100) I want to combine these 2 games. My conversion and settings what I use: All conversions give me high ADS sens faster than I have for hipfire, except 360 distance beetwen this games it's give me 0.833333 for BF4 and this super slow, I know what in BF4 close range sensitivity 1.666667 (167%) it's 1:1 to hipfire for 360 distance and I can't going with higher multiplier than this, also need to consider a small zoom in ADS, USA give me it's around 152-154% for 1:1 feeling but this fast after BF3, help me guys. P.S.: sorry for bad english, it's not native language for me
  9. Siege uses vertical FOV in settings, Apex uses horizontal for aspect rario 4:3, if u want same FOV like in Siege - use 90 in Apex.
