  1. Why is this? I thought resolution didn't matter for the game, just the aspect ratio?
  2. That thread simply says you should use higher dpi and lower sensitivity (as opposed to lower dpi and higher ingame sensitivity). Going too low sensitivity in game can cause problems, though.
  3. Lol pretty sure you got the wrong values. I tried to put in your settings, said 1 is max. I put in 0.5 and then tried 1 sensitivity, and it showed up that 0.5 gives you half the sensitivity. So I just divided the 1 number by 6 and you'd have 0.02cm per 360, you'd do 50 360s in just one cm movement Even with 1 sensitivity (highest calculator allows) you get 0.14 cm per 360, that's still 7 360s in just one cm movement. Either calculator is janked or you need to check your numbers
  4. Isn't this the same as other source games? Why isn't this added yet?
  5. Guys I think dpi wizard is dead (or busy with something else :-P)
  6. CS still has snipers, and your sensitivity is slowed accordingly when you zoom in, and slowed even more if you double scope.
  7. I find it strange that you'd want to have same zoomed in sensitivity for all weapons. If you have same sensitivity zoomed in as when hipfired, then the sens is actually ridiculously high (if we're talking a 4x scope and you want to have same inch / 360 distance). That will be way too fast to be any use, even (and perhaps especially) if you're on low sens To each their own tho
  8. So I've tested the fov thing a tiny bit, but not sure what the information I found means. What I did was go into a bot game, put cheats on and try to change the fov_cs_debug to 90, then 100, then 106. It didn't change with the first, and the got wider with the other two, on a 1920:1080 resolution, 16:9 (my monitor's native). So clearly the default value for fov_cs_debug is 90. As I said, not sure if that means 90 is default horizontal fov for 16:9. Just throwing some info out there Going by feeling, I never noticed much discrepancy between tf2/l4d2 (steam games, not affected by fov) and cs:go on 90. I thought I felt it was a bit different, but I thought it was due to the fact how cs plays compared to the other two, and how accuracy is much more important. Either way, not 9 cm different, but who knows. edit: Oh, nvm, wizard already answered. I'll leave it here anyway.
