  1. Hi DPI Wizard, I noticed on the calculator battlefront 2 config FOV isnt set to the 1.0 fov scale thats in the settings file for the game. Would it be possible to add it to the calculator so I can match the fov in the config file. Thanks.
  2. Hi DPI Wizard, Is it possible to increase the decimal places to 6 decimal places instead of 5 being the limit in the calculator? I know its such a small difference but wondering if it would be possible. Thanks.
  3. Hi DPI Wizard, I noticed when i save profiles. When I try to load profiles with distance conversions, the distance 360 degrees box is blank and wont save my distance input. Hopefully this can be fixed. Thanks.
  4. Which formula do you prefer personally Drimzi?
  5. Testing out Full Dynamic Monitor Match formula, found the lower FOVs too slow so when ADSing from hipfire ingame did not feel natural to me. Personally I'm aiming better with the experimental formula you had earlier that matched desktop to 180 degree turns. I don't i know if its just me having to adapt between formulas but thats what finding right now. But i find the fov scaling with the experimental formula to me really good, it may feel a bit fast at first but once you get use to it, feels really natural to me. Thanks drimzi for all the great work!
  6. Drimzi you mean sync to the scope with the lower FOV no? Syncing to higher fov scope would mean the lower fov scope would be fast?
  7. Hi drimzi, I am having trouble trying to apply your new forumla, when attempting lower hfovs it doesnt seem to scale well as compared to higher fovs as inches/360 for low fov seems way faster than it should be as comapred to higher fovs. I think I'm doing something wrong if I am inputting the formula wrong or if θ is HFOV 4:3???? Sorry and thanks. Edit: Thanks for editing the equation drimzi, it seems to work now.
  8. With the brief testing I have done, it does feel that scaling between objects seems equal when hip-firing and zooming in. Thank you drimzi, it feels much better than the current viewspeed implementation.
  9. I have been testing out drimzi's formula and I agree with him that it does feel better than the current viewspeed implementation. Not sure if it is a placebo but transitioning between zoom levels in-game feel that much more fluid.
  10. Hi drimzi, I am trying to understand the zoom ratio in relation to games. Looking at your formula its basing the coefficient FOV on 106.26 fov (90 fov 4:3). So having 106.26 as a hipfire fov, and your aim down sights FOV scaled based on the zoom ratio coefficient, it should give the same radial speed between both corresponding arcs (your hipfire and aim-down sight fov)???? I apologize my math is not too strong, I just want to understand your thinking here. Are you saying this method might be more optimal than your original viewspeed method??
  11. how would you match the coefficient with viewspeed DNAMTE? i don't fully understand, if you don't mind elaborating :/, Thanks.
  12. Hi DPI Wizard I'm confused how you converted the counts into cm/360??? What calculation was used to come up with those lengths?
