  1. Is there a way to change this?
  2. Alright. I'll assume placebo then. Brains are fun. Thank you very much for checking this!
  3. Does the option change anything regarding sensitivity? It actually feels faster/slower with same sensitivity and I've had 2 other friends try disabling it who said the same thing.
  4. I've been told that fortnite BR doesn't use mouse acceleration at all anymore. The option bDisableMouseAcceleration is still in the GameUserSettings.ini and when I change it to true, I feel it change my sensitivity in-game even though the numbers are the same. It keeps setting it back to false every time I close the game so I made it read-only. Is there actually mouse acceleration in the game or does the value just add/remove a static factor in overall sensitivity. I noticed the guided rocket launcher had a much slower sensitivity with acceleration off.
  5. I'm guessing settings reset when the game realizes it can't write to the config file? That's kind of odd. I haven't touched Fortnite again because I can't find a good sensitivity since the changes with scope and all. Are the values correct for conversion at this moment on this website?
  6. Yeah I'm having issues with getting a comfortable sensitivity since the update. Not sure what it is exactly...
  7. I'd assume that is the "Removed mouse smoothing". I'm guessing it was averaging out input (and probably incorrectly) especially at higher polling rates.
  8. Btw when you have mouse acceleration enabled in windows, the polling rate affects the sensitivity. Is it possible there is still mouse acceleration in the game despite it being disabled in the config files? I'm talking out of game and just using it on the desktop. Mouse acceleration causes the polling rate to affect mouse sensitivity. I'm guessing the acceleration is applied per poll
  9. Ok but is it necessary to make it read-only? It seems to overwrite the value. Or is it necessary to make it read-only just for first launch? Would 500hz be enough? There's a difference in feel between them all but mouse feels especially sluggish at 125h, 500hz feels also doesn't feel as direct as 1000hz but it's manageable.
  10. So changing GameUserSettings.ini to have bDisableMouseAcceleration=True resets to false if not set to read only. Does that mean the value is not used and the game is using a hardcoded "true" or "false" value? People are saying they notice a difference on reddit but I'm not sure if it actually makes a difference (I did disable it my first day playing)
