Cody Low 0 Posted February 28, 2019 (edited) @DPI Wizard So if I want to convert my 1728x1080 csgo sensitivity to 1X zoom apex sensitivity, am I entering these fields in correctly? I set the FOV type for both to Vdeg since I'm matching MDV 0% on everything, and then I just trial and error'd the FOV I needed to set apex to to get the same ACTUAL VFOV as csgo? philheath 17 Posted March 2, 2019 do we choose 4:3 in the calculator even though we play 16:9 monitor? that's the one thing confusing me 1 hour ago, DPI Wizard said: Are you using the front page calculator and not the old one? Link to comment

So use 4:3 if you are entering the value from the the in-game settings. The only reason to change FOV Type is if you want to convert from another type. The output will show you the "Config FOV" to match the different type. Link to comment
coldhandslol 0 Posted March 3, 2019 @DPI Wizard How do i go about getting the right fov value from this? i see the sensitivity, but not the fov i need to use? https://gyazo.com/28f1d0056d8d59dceeeabf0e4ba2ea68 Link to comment

Nerevarine44 0 Posted March 3, 2019 I can't figure out the exact "ADS Mouse Sensitivity Multiplier" (I guess it's called "mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0" in settings.cfg) to match my hipfire cm to 360 and 1x HCOG / Holo / Variable Holo / Digital Threat cm to 360 (1x HCOG preferred in case each of these 1x sights has different FOVs). By trail and error I figured it's close to 1.4 but I'd like to get a perfect match. Unfortunatelly, Apex has zoomed in FOV for 1x red dot sights and I'm used to having the same cm to 360 for hip fire and ADS with 1x red dot sights (like in BF4 with Uniform Soldier Aiming ON). settings.cfg: mouse_sensitivity "1.967857" profile.cfg: cl_fovScale "1.45964" 1920x1080, 27", 400 DPI, (52.8032 cm to 360 based on the configurator) Many thanks to anyone who could help me with that. Now that I see your post I'm very confused. If I'm coming from cod4 16:9 or cs:go 16:9 and 110 fov in apex what do I select? Edited March 3, 2019 by howtobuildpls Link to comment

Now that I see your post I'm very confused. 4:3 is what the game uses in-game, you can use any FOV Type if you want to convert from another type like in this case. The important thing is that you configure the FOV according to the output. howtobuildpls 1 Link to comment

Je to trochu nepřesné, což je důvod, proč výpočet rozsahu bude vypnuty několika málo. mohu se zeptat, co mám dělat, abych měl stejný pocit hipfire jako já s 1x zoomem? because in Apex according to the picture setting does not answer the sensitivity of the mouse as with CSGO ..... 400DPI is too low Edited March 4, 2019 by POG Link to comment

So is this correct? http://prntscr.com/mt7mel I change the fovscale in profile.cfg and put mouse_sensitivity "3.072158" and mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0 "1.000000" in my settings.cfg and that's it? Nothing else to modify? I don't need to do anything else in the calculator? Link to comment

So I need to use that sens and fovscale? Just to double check, I need to use THIS sens, not the 4:3 sens and this fovscale from this calculation? Thank you! Link to comment

Is this with promod? I'm not sure, but isn't fovscale locked to either 1 or 1.125? I'm on a bit of thin ice here, haven't looked too much into fovscale in this game. Link to comment

It's promod, and yes it's definitely fovscale 1.4, fov 80, there are many mods with cod4x 1.8, so what do I do now? Link to comment

Unless promod does something else with the FOV scaling, use 112 and Hdeg 4:3. This is very wide though, you should see pretty quickly if the Apex FOV matches or not. Link to comment
