Alpha version of this upcoming game is added!
Wizard DPI Wizard 3,869 Posted August 14, 2020 Wizard To set the sensitivity in the config file, first set both Mouse Sensitivity and ADS Mouse Sensitivity to 0 in-game, then exit. Open the file [GAME FOLDER]\RaidGame\Saved\SaveGames\ControlSettings.sav in a Hex editor, like Hex Editor Neo which is free. Look for the four bytes "0ad7233c" following "Sensitivity01 FloatProperty" and "Sensitivity02 FloatProperty", these are hipfire and ADS respectively (the screenshots show 0.01 for in-game, this should be 0): Change these two to the calculated values for hipfire and ADS: Save the file and close it, then start the game and it should be perfectly matched. Wizard DPI Wizard 3,869 Posted May 5, 2022 Wizard Marauders is updated now, note that you have to use a polling rate of 500 Hz or lower to disable smoothing. Skandale and kinada423 1 1 Link to comment
Skandale 4 Posted July 21, 2022 Would it be possible to update the calculator for Marauder Closed Beta? Feels like they changed the sensitivities Cptkekflip 1 Link to comment

Wizard DPI Wizard 3,869 Posted July 22, 2022 Wizard The sensitivity is still the same, but the range is increased a bit. The ADS in the calculation is the SMG you start with. You have to use a polling rate of 500 Hz or lower to avoid the negative acceleration due to smoothing. The slider is very inaccurate, it can be off by over 30%, but setting the sensitivity in the config file works now. I've added instructions in the second post Skandale 1 Link to comment

spudzzy 0 Posted October 3, 2022 Calculator doesn't feel right. Numbers don't seem to match up with marauders in game sensitivity range. Link to comment
Cptkekflip 4 Posted October 3, 2022 I believe they adjusted something that might have changed the way sensitivity worked. The devs mentioned altering sensitivity settings in the discord Q&A a few days ago Link to comment
Wizard DPI Wizard 3,869 Posted October 3, 2022 Wizard I've updated the game now. The in-game range was completely changed, and the config file was moved. Note that the slider is still very inaccurate and you have to use a polling rate of 500 Hz or lower to avoid negative acceleration. KugelmagnetEddie and Cptkekflip 2 Link to comment
tantan 0 Posted October 4, 2022 What is Negative Acceleration? For example, what if the polling rate was 2000hz or 4000hz? There are mouse that support 4000hz. Link to comment

There are mouse that support 4000hz. It's a bit of an oxymoron, but what it means is that the game either misses reports or is trying to "smooth" them, resulting in the mouse movement being a lot longer than it should be. And it's not stable, the actual movmement is all over the place. So it's the opposite of acceleration where the movement is shorter. Using a high polling rate over 1000 Hz is not recommended as a lot of games struggle with this. Most handle 1000 Hz, but some (like this one) has smoothing enabled by default resulting in this negative acceleration. Link to comment
lophi 1 Posted October 7, 2022 you cant set the ingame sens to 0.01 anymore, its a simple slider from 1 to 100, and all of them can go to 1 could you by chance tell us the four bytes for when setting the sens values to 1 instead of 0.01? tyty so much for going through these files !! It goes from 0-100, this is already updated for the in-game calculations. And the config file calculation already has a minimum of 0.01. Make sure to select the correct location, and let me know if you have any issues Link to comment
Cptkekflip 4 Posted October 16, 2022 (edited) Hey wizard, I'm having a lot of trouble finding the hex for the sensitivities, any chance you could update the your hex example for .01 to something that's a whole number for the new slider? thanks a bunch. @DPI Wizard Edited October 16, 2022 by Cptkekflip tagging the wiz Link to comment
