Hmm, I even used a ruler to measure the 360° distance and it seemed fine 🤷‍♂️

0.03 in Windows 10 edition? I.e. 3 in-game, or setting ctrl_sensitivity2_mouse:0.03 in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe\options.txt?

The sensitivity I get with that number is close to the same as 0 in the Java edition, or about 6.3 times the 360 distance in Windows 10 edition. 0.3 in both games are actually quite close, but that is just by chance.

Are there more versions out there that's confusing us? I'm using "Minecraft for Windows 10" from the Windows Store, in-game it says version v1.10.1.

Bedrock (Windows 10) edition is added now! The sensitivity scaling is really weird, so expect calculations to be up to 1.5% inaccurate. I've also set the minimum sensitivity to 0.02 since it becomes very inaccurate below that.

In-game sensitivity is also added for both editions, and the config file calculation for the Java version now supports the FOV multiplier for better accuracy.

I only tried one sensitivity (from the value given by the Java Edition) and the past, and it was waaaay too high so I tried 1/10 of it and it seemed correct, (even when eyeballing with a ruler) So I just assumed it was the right converting method 😂 guess it just was a pretty close coincident 😲

My sens is normally 16.0428 inches/360 (40.75cm) and the calculator says something like 25% would make those 16 inches. But 18% or 19% feels way closer to me. 25% is noticeable higher than my regular sens

I'm playing Minecraft Bedrock, and I use 400 DPI

My sens in Overwatch is 8.50 and in CSGO is 2.55

The bedrock sensitivity seems off. For the reference my sens in Source engine game is 1.2*1600, and is equivalent to 0.08052 in MC keeping the same fov, whereas the calculator gives 0.115... something.

Bedrock has been changed recently, the sensitivity scale is different now. I've updated it, but it was changed the opposite way of your suggestion. The correct sensitivity for 1.2 from source should be 0.15746463. Let me know if this is completely off for you, if so there is some other setting affecting the sensitivity.

I just realized resolution (or rather the resulting FOV) actually affect sensitivity in Bedrock, what is your resolution?

Got it now, it's the horizontal resolution that is a direct multiplier for the sensitivity. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but calculations should better now.

There is still a small discrepancy, but now that I've found out how the sensitivity handles resolution I should be able to fix it.

I am on a 1080p, 16:9 monitor.
