As of Steam build 3743353, Risk of Rain 2 features a sensitivity reduction when sprinting that cannot be turned off in-game.

Fortunately, there is a fix via Hex editing. Link to the original post here.

  • Go to:
    Steam\steamapps\common\Risk of Rain 2\Risk of Rain 2_Data\Managed
  • Using a Hex editor, open:
    Assembly-CSharp.dll
  • Find:
    22 00 00 00 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 00 3F
  • Replace:
    22 00 00 80 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 80 3F

With the new major June update: Steam Build: 3930144, there is an option within Gameplay called "Sprint Sensitivity Reduction" which you can turn off or on.

I'm being a bit silly, I can't seem to find the config file that lets me change the sensitivity. The 'userdata' folder is empty bar one folder with numbers that leads to random 'remotecache' files that are nothing to do with Risk of Rain 2. Any advice would be appreciated :)

One of those folders should be 632360, which is Risk of Rain 2's ID. Under that folder you should find \remote\UserProfiles and then the config file.

Can you please update the calculator for Risk of Rain 2 as the recent update changed the max and min to 1-10.

You are probably looking at the controller sensitivity, mouse sensitivity is still 0.01-1 :)

Sens now feels very slow, i should use ~0.06 But compared to new sens i need to use close to ~1.0

Checked it now and calculations should be correct. 1 is max, that can't be right?

@DPI Wizard

There is a mod called "ChangeFOVSettings" in the Modmanager.

It seems to work as intended, changing the Actual VFOV from default (60) to 50-120.

Could you enable us to change the FOV in the calculator?

Best regards,

Dantesick

Nice, added support for this now.
