For Targeting in Rogue just set it to 100 since the calculated sensitivity is slightly higher.

I think the calculation of the first zoom sens is bugged. It almost always displays that my sens is too high and that sens number goes up the higher my target DPI is. Pretty sure it should go down like the other numbers. Even if I set my target DPI to 3200 (from 800 in my source game settings) it says the calculated sens is too high.

It's not bugged, it's the game that lacks the range to match your preference. At 100 (which is max) it's already really slow compared to hipfire.

But shouldn't the number still go down when I increase the DPI? See what happends when I go from 800 DPI to 5000 DPI:

I don't think the sens slider can possibly be slow enough to not work with 5000 DPI :D

Yes, but since you are converting using "All" the main adjustment is done in the "Look Sensitivity" value which goes from 2.1 to 0.2. The targeting sensitivity is a multiplier to the look sensitivity, so it's still unable to adjust it to your preference. If you instead keep 2.1 and set the DPI to 5000 it would work:

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=fcf773a6154e9ce47dca3b53377f18c8

But this obviously makes the look sensitivity wrong so you need to have a DPI switch when targeting for this to work properly.

Oh I see thanks.

Is there a way to get a more exact value from the calculator? The config file seems to be at %localappdata%\RogueCompany\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Input.ini. I don't know if it will take a more accurate number tho.

It unfortunately does not accept more than one decimal. The actually applied sensitivity from the file is the "SavedSettingsConfig=" in the bottom, and it ignores any decimals beyond the first.

Hello. Could you update the converter settings for this game? The game has already been updated several times (it even broke the sens settings), and I have a feeling that the sens suggested by the converter does not suit me. Thank you!

Can you share a specific conversion not working correctly?

Not sure how to best describe it... Sensitivity just doesn't fit. I cannot say for sure whether it is faster or slower.

Try again now, targeting and scope needed an update indeed.

Hello again.

A long time ago I noticed that whatever setting I put in the gyro section, it changes its behavior, but does not turn off completely. Is there any way to adjust the gyro on the PC so that it does not interfere with shooting? If it is possible, I would like to disable it completely.

One more thing... I do not know whether it is connected with the gyroscope or just a bug that the developers did not care about, but the sensitivity of ADS and optics are tied to each other. Is there any way to get rid of this relationship, or at least compensate for it?

Explanation of the problem: I play at 400 dpi, 3.8 sens, 77 ads and 48 optics. But I can not hit with optics if I do not set 79 ads, and it worsens my Aim. Also, I can't shoot normally with ads if I don't put 47 on the scope.

You can easily verify their relationship if you just change the neighboring sensitivity value.

For example, if you have 2.8sens/800dpi and 76 ADS, but you don't use sniper rifles. You left the stock value of 40 on the sniper and are hitting just fine with ads? Now for the trick! Change 40 to 41, 39, etc. In a normal game only the sensitivity of the optics will change. And here you will immediately stop hitting the target in ADS mode. Try it.

This is purely a controller settings, maybe if you have a controller plugged in it interferes, I don't know. If you do, just unplug it.

Targeting and scope are completely independent of each other, as mentioned if you have a controller plugged in it might interfere.

Much to my regret, I do not have a controller connected to my computer. If you don't mind (and provided you feel this kind of sensitivity change), could you check it yourself? Perhaps then you could find a solution to this problem?

I just did, changing scope sensitivity does not affect targeting at all (and vice-versa).

To be honest, I don't understand anything in this case anymore... This is already happening on my second computer. The first one i had i7 9700K and radeon 7870, and the current one i have r9 5900x and 1080ti. I have one guess, but I don't have any friends who play this game, so it's hard for me to verify it... I have fps cap disabled in my config. You can also disable it to check, but if that's not the case, I don't know what it could be related to.

Please do not consider it an advertisement, but this site has instructions on how to disable fps cap. I should add that "0" does not turn it off, but works like the standard "150". My current setting is "9999".

P.S.: could it be related to my mouse and high hertz? Viper 8 kHz, 400dpi/8000hz.

Definitely, a lot of games have issues with 8 kHz polling rates. Try 1000 Hz or even 500 Hz and see if that helps.

I'll give it a try, thanks for the advice.

P.S.: Given the peculiarities of the game, you need to restart the game after each change of the sensitivity setting. It is necessary for the sensitivity setting to take an integer value. Since there is no exact sensitivity setting, when you change it, for example, from 40 to 39, there probably put something like 39.6 and not 39. To make it just 39 you have to restart the game. I have no way to accurately check this, so this is just my guess, but every time I change the sensitivity from top to bottom it is different from the sensitivity I put from bottom to top. I have seen this happen in at least 2 games.

Thank you for the advice, but alas, it did not help much. As you recommended, I lowered the hertz and tested at 1000 and 500 Hz, it got only slightly better in terms of "interconnectivity", but my accuracy dropped so much that I stopped hitting completely. Yeah... Turns out going back from 8000 Hz to 1000 is like shooting yourself in the foot. Unexpectedly for me.

I would also like to add that the gyroscope, which is responsible for shooting from the hip (the default value of 5) is now set to 0. The effect is about as if you were playing cs with mouse acceleration turned on (5 in the first column), and then suddenly turned it off (0 in the same column).

The second gyro (which has a default value of 55) makes no sense to touch if you, like me, do not want to dig into the game configs. Moreover, I can't say for sure, but it doesn't look like it's completely disabled even with the config set to 0. More like 10 in the game or so.

I suspect this effect is present in the game, but it is little noticeable if you use a simpler gaming mouse and play with the standard gyro settings (in fact - enabled acceleration). I have no more ideas, as the problem already occurs on the second computer. Different (licensed) versions of windows 10 and cardinally different hardware.

Greetings. Can you add support for the config? It works very buggy, but it works. The point is that the game does not read (or ignores) the value if the config is a whole value different from the one that is in the game. Example: the game is 40, but in the configuration file you wrote 56. In this case the game will ignore the value 56 and leave it at 40 even if you set the file to "read only". But if you set 55 in the game and write in config to, say, 55.35792715 and make the file "read only", then the game will accept the new value and change the sensitivity. When yesterday tested, the game let me write 10 characters after the point (X.xxxxxxxxxx), i didn't check further. I think it will take up to 16 characters, as in UE games. By the way, it seems that you can not prescribe in the configuration at hipfire values longer than x.x (3.2), longer than 1 digit after the point it does not take.

P. S: it is very likely that if you go into the settings or change them, the procedure will have to be repeated, because the game will overwrite the values on the server. At least, I've already had several times this happened.
