Config FOV:

GstRender.FieldOfViewVertical 90

Actual HFOV:

121.28 degrees

This is wrong if u set 90 FOV ingame it says HFOV is 106.

Lazy programming by Dice ;)

In-game shows the HFOV for 4:3 resolution, which is correctly 106.26 . But for 16:9 it is 121.28.

See for yourself, if you change from 16:9 to 4:3 resolution, the HFOV does not change, which it must when using the same vertical FOV.

Hello,

As I´m currently trying to understand all the funny sliders in the settings to find proper settings for me, I just wanted to ask why the Aiming Coefficient should be set to 0 when using the calculator?

Also how can I use the calculator correctly when I would like to use the Field of View ADS Scaling?

Thanks

Hi! When BF4 USA was added to the calculator, it only supported two variables. So it was set as a requirement that Aiming Coefficient and FOV ADS Scaling was set to 0. Now that it supports up to four variables they can theoretically be added, but it might over-complicate things for some users. I'll look into making a Battlefield 4 Advanced entry maybe :)

I just signed up for a subscription and ran into the same problem as above. In order to change my sensitivity for the one scope I want to change, I need to set the UsA coefficient to the non-standard value, which effects all the other scopes as well :(

I should mention, that the instructions are to set the coefficient to 0, but that did not work correctly. When I set it to 1 (aka 100%) the rotation was correct. Unfortunately I still have the issue where the other scopes aren't right due to the non-standard coefficient.

Lil' help? :)

I see the problem, will fix it!

Is the Calculator for Bf4 "Scalded 1x......" with USA on or off?

To calculate aim sensitivity with Uniform Soldier Aiming, you need to enter the scaling coefficient and/or the base sensitivity.

But i cannot add any value it says N/A

BF4 is currently hardcoded with USA coefficient 1, will update this soon!

Hey,

I'm also pretty confused about the Notes where it says:

"To calculate aim sensitivity with Uniform Soldier Aiming, you need to enter the scaling coefficient and/or the base sensitivity."

Do we enter our GstInput.MouseSensitivity or the coefficient number we are using in-game or a multiplication of both?... even though right below the notes say to set the coefficient to 0:

"Also make sure the following values are set:
GstInput.SoldierUniformAimingCoefficient 0"

hello, I am trying to match bf4 sensitivity with csgo, so I can use the training maps

lets say I choose 1x coyote sight, does that include the FOV of that sight?

lets say I run base 90 FOV, and the aim down sight is 64 FOV {I don't really know what it is}

do I leave the fov 90 or do I have to change the fov to 64 and change csgo to 64 also to match?

BF4 is currently hardcoded with USA coefficient 1, will update this soon!

I guess USA OFF is the same as USA 1.000. At least thats how it works in Bf1.

When USA is off, each zoom level has it's own hard-coded sensitivity. In BF1, this is the same as USA on, coefficient 1. In BF4, the hardcoded values are.... Strange and inaccurate.

In addition, USA causes sensitivity to scale with FOV during the transition from hipfire to ADS, whereas without USA, the sensitivity 'jumps' immediately to the zoomed value as soon as you begin the transition.... So it will feel different anyway.

TL;DR just use USA.

Hi guys I'm almost getting there is still need few more hours to understand everything.

55v in bf4 is 70h I'm not really getting why. AND v67 which is mine is h83 inside BF4 in game.

what I learned here is: Converting sensi from h1z1 to bf4.

Everything in the picture is ok, no idea if it's Usa off or on, but anyway I tried both and nothing clear.

But because both games are VFOV I've to look at h1z1 VFOV which is 67 and not at 55 which says BF4 right? but why it says 55 vfov in battlefield 4 section I don't have to use that right?

And I tried like this 9% soldier and vfov 67 I can't make 360º like in h1z1 or so, but looks pretty good the aim.

I hope you understand everything.

Usually the config file allows for more decimal places. If in doubt, use the config file.

I know why it wasn't working properly, I did leave on blank the output so it wasn't giving me the proper sensitivity.

Anyway I set up like you told me the file, SO THANKS:.

Set up the hipfire like so:

Then (I assume) set up each and every weapon aim like so:

LEpEIMB.png

Enter these commands into the config file (or console?), I did iron sight, 1x, 4x, 8x, 20x, IRNV, and vehicle.

GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.017365

GstInput.MouseRawInput 1

GstInput.SoldierUniformAiming 1

GstInput.UniformSoldierAimingCoefficient 1

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityAll 1

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityIronSight 1.030242

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityCloseMagnRange 1.032364

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityCloseRange 1.021178

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityMediumRange 1.050671

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityLongRange 1.054026

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityVeryLongRange 1.055007

GstInput.MouseSensitivityVehicle 0.360212

My friend I don't know if it's possible I run out of the subscribtion and I just need to find out the same as you gave me but making 0.10 in h1z1, is it possible or you gonna make me pay for just this?

I hope you can do it for me, as I paid already once... I know, I know, but let's see if you could...

THANKS.

How can i convert bf4 1X scope (Coyote, HD-33, Holo, Kobra, PKA-S, Reflex) , in my config file the sens is

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityCloseRange 1.130000

if i put 1.13 to bf4 sens the calculator says "Too high sensitivity 1 - Maximum is 1"

in game close range sens "113%"

changing location "in game" same message Too high sensitivity 1 - Maximum is 100
