I think you would get more money if you offered a one-time payment plan

Now I know this is a sensitive topic for any online product, but hear me out. This is not me angry or yelling at the developer, but it is truly just my suggestion for something that I think would significantly improve this site for me and many other people (as well as the developer maybe, as it might increase profits). I love this site, I think it's a great idea and the features are useful. However plain and simply I will never be buying a subscription plan unless it's permanent (or waaaay cheaper). This isn't like a Spotify subscription or world of Warcraft or Osu or something. This site is a tool, and as such I probably only visit it maybe once every few months. It's an extremely helpful tool, and one that certainly is worth some money to get access to all the features, but it's not the kind of thing that I personally can justify spending money on if I'm not permanently getting a product. I just can't justify spending a subscription fee on something I only visit once every time I buy a game.

I obviously don't know what your subscriber retention rates are or how many people tend to actually buy the plans, so this is pure speculation, but at the very least I can vouch for myself (and a couple friends) that I simply won't buy a product like this unless I get it permanently, especially given that money is finite and I can name dozens of things out there I'd rather subscribe to before this. I'll pay subscriptions for something like google play music (which by the way is actually cheaper for me than this software's subscription fee...) because I use it daily and get hundreds of hours of use out of it, this though I just simply can't justify.

I really think you should consider changing your "tri-annual" plan into a permanent one. or at the very least adding a tier above it (50-60 dollars?) that is permanent. I mean lets be realistic, how many people are buying that plan and consistently re-subscribing every 3 years? Do you think you're earning more money from that than the people who are holding back because they don't want to pay money for something they won't get to keep? Realistically the only people you'll get purchasing your payment plan are really hardcore gamer's that have no other choice because you have no competition, but if you compare the price of this software to the price of thousands of other things I could be spending money online it's honestly just a terrible deal for 99.9 percent of gamers.

Obviously it's up to you, and this isn't a "threat" or something like "make it cheaper or I'll never give you money!" I'm simply stating fact about what will get me to purchase this and giving you insight as a developer as to how an average user likely perceives the value of your product. I hope you consider some kind of option because I genuinely think your site is a great idea and is really convenient, and I would love to be able to use it for more games like Overwatch, but I can't personally justify spending that much money on something that in the end is simply a time-saving tool, as I can accomplish the same thing with a ruler and some paper.

Also I guess a bit more insight as to who I am as a gamer, I'm honestly well in the more "serious" category of people that game. I'm the kind of guy that goes out of my way to research things online to improve, and obviously to use tools like this to increase my consistency as much as possible. Even for me I just think this price is too steep, so I can't imagine an "average" gamer would even consider it.

Either way I have to commend you for doing a great job on this site, it's well put together and a unique and useful tool. I just really can't justify the purchase at the moment in a market so saturated with equally good products that are being sold as a better payment model. Keep up the good work.
