Honestly, I originally questioned whether it'd be worth paying a lifetime sub for this site when I signed up a couple of years ago.

Haven't regretted it once. Then I see you guys even cover games with no in-game sensitivity option by using regedit. What a time to be alive! Great stuff guys. Very much appreciated!

Shame the premium price went up a lot recently =/

Btw it says that FOV is not possible to change (locked), but you can change it by mouse-scrolling in-game to zoom in and out!

Is it just me or does it reset everytime you change a setting in the menu

I found the issue now, if the sensitivity set in the registry is outside of the range of the in-game slider, this will happen.

I need to play all games on crazy high sens do to my limit mobility but I understand it might not work.

Tested it now and increased the max sensitivity to 10 :)

Hallo everyone, this is my first post here. So I have the following problem: I'm very sure that Valheim changed my sensitivity in other games (Escape from Tarkov, World of Warcraft Classic and Retail). I only used the ingame slider to configure it. I'm suspecting that it changed some registry value that also translates into these other games. My sensitivity now is roughly double what it should be. I've also found 4 other people that have the same problem, though none of them have a solution. I would be very happy if i just could reset it to the exact value it was before i installed Valheim without reinstalling Windows. I've allready  reset Valheims sensitivity to default, but it did not help. Additionally I've checked the DPI values of my mouse as well as the ingame settings of the other games, all of these are as they were before.

Is there a way to push this past the limit of 10? My partner tried and although sensitivity = 10 is helpful, due to his disability it would be great if it could be pushed further.

Tested it now, and this game seems to accept basically any value in the registry, so the max now is increased to 100. Do note that as previously mentioned the sensitivity will reset if you change any setting in-game when it's outside of the in-game slider range. So make sure to do all settings before setting the sensitivity in the registry.

Thank you so much. Honestly we just found this website and these values are going to open up so many games for him to play that he couldn't before

Good to know! Be aware that in most games the focus is on how low the sensitivity can go, and not how high (as you want it). So if you find another game where you can't go high enough just let me know. If the sensitivity is in-game is usually limited by the interface though, but if it's in a config file or registry it might go higher than the current max in the calculator.

Just in case anyone is having this issue,

if you make a .reg file and put it on your desktop you can change your sens back quickly in case you need to change ingame settings.  The game will respect registry changes midgame, so you can change graphics settings, etc. and then run the .reg and get your sens back.

For example, what I have set up is

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\IronGate\Valheim]
"MouseSensitivity_h2921938665"=hex(4):00,00,00,c0,60,e5,00,40

Replace the red letters and numbers with whatever sens you get in the calculator.

Just registered to say thank you,

I have a certain health condition, and I have serious difficulties with playing some of the games because my weak muscles prevent me from pressing any buttons on the keyboard, I do everything using a laptop touchpad and an on-screen keyboard, as well as other accessibility devices and programs

I can't enjoy many games because with my muscle condition, and awkward setup, even the maximum mouse sensitivity is a bit too low for comfortable aiming, or even unplayable like Valheim.

Now thanks to you I can finally play Valheim!

Although I'd like to ask how do you calculate the value?100 is just a tiny bit too fast.

DPI Wizard is the G.O.A.T he got it to 10 for me so I could play I have MD so I always have high dpi also. I wonder what if u lower your mouse dpi just for Valheim to see if it counter the 100. then maybe you won't need to reg edit all the time. oh if u wanna talk accessibility stuff feel free to message me, maybe something with my set up could help you and maybe something u do can help me.
