FOV of A.V.A Global may be able to exceed 90

It seems that FOV of A.V.A Global can be adjusted beyond 90 by editing the config.  I have watched a video but I have not tried that.

https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1AG4y1k7rp/?spm_id_from=333.337.search-card.all.click

The updater of this video said that the value of fCustomFov can exceed 500 to get the higher FOV like this video. But after adjusting the document, the document need to be set to read-only, and it can only work in multiplayer mode (not the training ground). If it still can not work, switching the classes and then revive in game may work.

Some players left comments that it still can not work or causes errors in game, but it seemingly actually work according to this video.

This does not work as far as I can tell, and he doesn't even show it working in the video?

Setting the FOV to 500 also makes no sense, as it is FOV in degrees.

The game only accepts 85 and 90, any other value is ignored :)

The first scene of the video is the edited FOV. The gun seems much smaller than normal. Maybe I can try to make a comparison and make some screenshots by myself in season 2. The season 1 disappoints me.

The first photo is my frame with default 90 FOV in 4:3. As we all know, AVA has fixed HFOV if we just adjust in settings.

Today one of my friends sent me a photo. He played AVA in 16:9 but has a wider HFOV. (the HUD is stretched but the graphic is natural. )He told me he had changed the FOV manually.

Either you have over-layed the images incorrectly, or the client is different in Asia.

You should try to change the aspect ratio without changing view to get a correct comparison.

I just tried 1600x1200, 1920x1080 and 2560x1080 here, this is the overlay, and as you can see the horizontal FOV is the same in all of them:

You are right. I found the AVAoptionsettings.ini seems to only change the view of the hands instead of the actual view.

But I found I need to change the AVAoptionsetting.ini to get the real 90 FOV. The setting in game is useless.
