  1. Does not calculate correctly, for windows to game sensitivity. I'm using 1100 DPI with win sensitivity to 4/11. I'm guessing the game uses Raw mouse, but the calculation is waaay too low it says 37 CM for a 360, but it's more like 30 CM for just moving the crosshair a little bit. ^^
  2. Well yeah, i know how it works. I picked 550 because way back I found it to work quite well and so I am going with that. Also hate having mouse really fast in menus. ^^ Desktop is not the best way, but It's the only solid I have, so... The thing is, first I just want to find the best way for me to convert it. Then I can mess around with it. Thank you for mentioning the FOV, I forgot about it. For now, I think viewspeed suits me the best. Can mess around with FOV then.
  3. Hi there, just wanted to say that this whole sensitivity thing is quite complex. I have been using my sim rig as my desk basically, which has a very limited space. So I been using 1100 DPI and matching it to my Desktop for games, since I don't have 1 specific game I play. Why 1100? It just ended up being 1100 after starting to get better in FPS games, I tried to go lower, but I was struggling to turn around, I look around a LOT. But I most certainly liked to be more consistent, I can play fine enough with 1100, but inconsistent, for various reasons. But now! I have a table and space for my mouse to move. Going down low by it's own is not a problem, getting it right however... Ehh... I have been playing Quake Champions instagib on and off. Got all this space, so figured I just lower my sensitivity to 550 and off I go! While it is not horrible I do seem to have certain issues here. #1 - I want to 360! Why? Why not? It's for good luck. #2 - Good control for aiming. Problem? Yes, both of those things require different sensitivity. ^^ Kinda Just messing around. Trying to find the best way to match it from Desktop. Seeing what works best. Everything seems a bit situational as well. Can't turn around well enough or can't fine aim enough. Wondering if others have had similar experiences?
  4. I was the same, the thing is, with lower sensitivity, unless you have space, your gameplay style changes. Me from rushing and trying to kill everything to tacticaly waiting and killing everything, rather then trying. I went from using 2000-3300 eDPI to 1100... I miss doing random 360's and having more freedom to look around, but after playing for months with 1100 I can't give up the consistency, casual or competitive. I occasionally switch to higher DPI, but I just can't anymore. I wish I could. Cause I like roaming about and it is harder to do with lower sensitivity, but oh well I value consistency over anything else. The thing is as long as you are happy with the sensitivity, and are consistent, no need to change yourself. I only lowered my sensitivity because I was inconsistent, badly so. If you can hit your shots every day ever match with no problems then go for higher sensitivity. If you seem to be unable to aim at a target then change lower. It's a personal preference. Also if your arm is under strain sit higher, you have to have your arm in a relaxed position.your forearm should be horizontal and elbow somewhere in the 90 degree angle depending on certain things.
  5. I had some serious issues with sprays control, burst control or any sort of aiming with the G900 for some reason and seemed to pixel jump as well, Tried their mousepads to make sure, but no difference. The G series mouse pads are okay at least the 240 and 640, but I have no room for them as I am sitting in Racing sim cockpit with just a keyboard trey, So I am using Corsair MM300 extended which I quite like, has a nice surface, it doesn't warm your hand and doesn't look dirty and the mouse has both speed and control and as far as surfaces go one of the best I have used. I had one of zowies hybrid thing mouse pads, but it kinda bulged over my keyboard trey giving uneven surface, but as far as mouse pads go it was good. As for mouse I am using Zowie EC2-A Fingertip grip. I like it because it works and it is simple. And by works it means, I can aim and it seems to have direct input to what I am doing. Not too smooth and not to erratic either. Clicks are clicks can't complain, but can't praise either. The wheel is also the same, but nice and silent. Side buttons are easy to press, but not accidentally. I Tried Rival 300 which I can't stand it is so 20$ mouse lol, it feels cheap it looks cheap and everything you press or scroll feels cheap. However it works. Corsair M45 the smoothest experience, also satisfying mouse wheel...However the buttons are squishy at long range one taps it is great but often on rapid fire go mush and nothing happens. I had some few other mice, but nothing note worthy. I also had Steelseries DeX which is awesome, but way tooooooo smalllll!!!
  6. Can't wait for the Zowie test, After trying to play with G900 for a month, going back to Zowie is like god sent gift.
  7. Pixel skipping depends on the mouse, I for one thing G900 is horrible at any sensitivity... As for why pros use 400DPI that is because on desktop that is the closest thing to their IG sensitivity. And it is one of most native mouse settings. If you use high sensitivity on desktop, but low IG you have to adjust to it a little bit which is confusing for muscle memory. and it doesn't exactly translate 1 to 1 so yeah... I started using 400 on desktop as well so that my arm movements don't go away IG.
  8. I don't get it how I am able to fine adjust it? All I have is 1-10 and a slider with no numbers...
