  1. how do you edit fortnite sensitivity from save file? is it possible or did they removed it? i wanted use this sens 0.0171467147 but its sens that needs to be entered in the savefile cfg but idk how to do that
  2. Hello guys. I was wondering how can I set my sensitivity in Valorant so it matches my Desktop sensitivity (or viceversa). I've read about monitor distance 0%, but I'm not sure how it works. My current sensitivity is 0.330 and 1600 DPI (1080p). What should my DPI be to match that 1:1? or what sensitivity should I use in Valorant to match my Desktop sensitivity? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hello all, I am currently having issued converting my sensitivity from Apex Legends to Hunt Showdown, when entering all the info, I get wrong results, or "calculated sensitivity too low" as you can see on the screenshot. After messing around with the ADS, hipfire, etc.. I finally got some decent results but they still felt off, so I tried to measure my 360 distance for both games, hipfire and ADS. For Apex (16:10) I got : - Hipfire : 35 centimeters - ADS : 44 centimeters For Hunt : Showdown (16:9), I got : - Hipfire : 39 centimeters - ADS : 80 centimeters Those numbers are approximate and can vary from a few centimeters, however the huge gap between Apex's ADS and Hunt : Showdown is just too big. Isn't the 360° distance supposed to be the same across all ratios ? I would really really appreciate some assistance, I have been playing with the same sens since about 5 years and really would like to keep on going,, am I doing something wrong? Thank you very much in advance ! @DPI Wizard
  4. Hello guys, I'm trying to copy all my settings from bf 2042 into apex legends. I got the sensitivity (in hipfire) and the fov right, but I don't know how to set the sensitivity for the optics. In battlefield, I use the Uniform Soldier Aim at 1.33 What values should I put into apex to make aiming with optics the same as in battlefield 2042? p.s. the other settings I use in apex are: 1.15 mouse sens and 110 fov ( and I also changed the fov inside config to cl_fovScale "1.58" ) Ty so much
  5. Hey there, first post here, I've lurked for quite a while. I was just noticing that my CM360 states 14.4318 yet when I do a 360 ingame (on both eternal, overwatch) it takes the full length of my mat (I've got it rotated due to space constraints) the mat in question is 90x50CM, so I'm a bit curious - does anyone have any information regarding the stated CM360 and why it varies so highly? For those curious: Sensitivity 1: Sensitivity 6 360° Distance: 14.4318 centimeters Pixel ratio: 0.6927 pixels/count Config FOV: Field of View 103 Actual VFOV: 56.63052 degrees Actual HFOV: 103 degrees
  6. on this site the sens goes from min:0.1 default: 0.8 and max: 6. the new one which has been out for ages is default: 1 and max: 3 so i can't use this site to convert my sens on this game, please update <3
  7. Hey, So I like to play on 3200 DPI but this is a pain in Tarkov because then you HAVE to use the config file every time you want to change sens and you turn to fast when holding middle mouse to look left and right. Well, I've found a way to get the numbers you need for the sensitivity within the in-game range while at high DPI and also lower the speed at which you turn while using the middle mouse function: simply open the config file shared.ini as you would to change your sens normally and then search for 'TurnY' and 'TurnX' and lower the first two 'sensitivity' values. (there are also a 'LookX' and 'LookY' but I didn't find any change from these, leave them be, it can be easy to get mixed up) Depending on what DPI you use depends on how much you will want to lower this. For me, as I use 3200 DPI and the value is '5.0' by default, I lowered this by a factor of 10. This makes sense for me as it also lowers my sensitivity by a factor of 10 (your sensitivity will be lowered by however much you lower this value) and my sensitivity for hipfire WAS 0.075 and for ADS 0.04, making it a much more reasonable 0.75 for hipfire and 0.4 for ADS now. Meaning if I change armor, I no longer have to quit the game, edit the config file and relaunch. I can just do it in-game. Note: whatever you adjust the default sensitivity of 5.0 by is how much you need to adjust the sensitivity you get by using the calculator by. For example, I divided my 5.0 value by 10, so I multiplied my sensitivity by 10. So if you divide the 5.0 by 2, making it 2.5, you multiply your sensitivity by 2 and so-on and so-forth.
  8. This will probably be a question only the devs/support will be able to answer, but does anyone know the ADS sensitivity multiplier for the original MW2? I've looked through the files trying to find anything relating to it with no luck.
  9. So i have been trying this for some time. I was reading on this forum that apparently 0% is the best for muscle memory/maximizing your skill ceiling. Now i know at the end of the day its preference but heres my problem i am facing with it. I am coming from FPS games Like CS,Valorant. Where hipfire is basically 90% of your aim. Now whenever i convert it with 0% MDV it just feels like whenever i scope in i drag my mouse trough mud. i thought maybe i need to get used to it but after weeks i simply just cant. my cm/360 is 41 btw. So I think its fairly obvious why specifically i dont like it and maybe some other guys here that primarily played Shooters where hipfire was most of your aim feel the same. obviously you convert your hipfire from CS to other games but 0% will slow down your ADS/Scope making you get this feeling since youre so used to the hipfire sens from CS, you instantly notice the senitivity switch when scoping in. I dont feel any of the more accuracy or whatever with 0% i just feel like i play with 2 sensitivities. If i could choose i would put my hipfire sens from CS to ADS on games where its heavily reliant like apex/cod. I know all that text to get to my question but here is it. For somebody in my situation. Whats the closest option i can use to get my hipfire as close to 1:1 to ADS/Scope. Now i know people will say you cant match it 1:1 but keep in mind i dont need 100% decimal sensitivity match, i just need something that "feels" the same. so would that be 100% MDH? what would you recommend i try out in this scenario. Thanks. and sorry if this question was asked already. it probably was but couldnt find exactly what i needed in the search
  10. I understand that as long as raw input is on, games will only use your mouse dpi in selecting your in-game sensitivity for aiming, but what if you use a lower WPS setting than the normal 6/11 WPS setting because you prefer that sensitivity for selecting things in the menu/inventory/etc. with the cursor? Does this affect anything at all? Is there going to be any input lag? Lower fps? Even if it is barely noticable, is there any difference? I'm contemplating in changing my settings. I used to use 400 dpi with 6/11 WPS, but later found out that apparently higher dpi with lower in-game sensitivity is better than low dpi with high in-game sensitivity, and so I changed my mouse dpi to 800 and lowered my in-game sensitivity to match my previous edpi/overall sensitivity. However, I don't like how the cursor/pointer speed feels at 800 dpi so I want lower it to 4/11 WPS to match how it previously felt. But, I don't want to if it will negatively affect my gaming experience i.e. make something run slower or not in it's highest potential.
  11. I am on vacation and have to use my laptop for what I would usually use my desktop for. I have a 27 inch monitor on 2560 x 1440 resolution at home and my laptop has a 15.6 inch monitor with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The sensitivity feels a little different and awkward to use can anyone help me out? The dpi that I use is 700 and I have a Logitech g403 mouse. The game that I usually play is Apex Legends and I use 1.5 in game sensitivity with 1.3 ads sensitivity on 103 fov. (Not sure if this helps or not)
  12. Hello. When i try to convert my Valorant sensitivity (.44 with 1 scope sens @ 400 dpi) it doesnt seem to line up correctly. My rust sensitivity is considerably slower, takes about 1 more mousepad to do a full 360. Can someone help me?
  13. Hello, I can't convert my sensitivity ADS 1.0x 1.5x 2.0x 2.5x R6S to Kovaak. Someone can help me do it ? Thanks
  14. I don't understand how I can aim INSANELY well in BF4, I can easily pull 80-100k 20d in a 10-15 min hardcore deathmatch, but when i play in any other game like CSGO or Rainbow Six I can't reproduce the "same" results. Is it because the more fast paced deathmatch of BF4 with enemies being everwhere or is the playerbase in BF4 just inferior to the other two mentioned games. Or is it my sensitivies being different from each game? bf4 being 14% @ 450dpi with USA and FOV Scaling on r6 being 10 H 10 V 80 ADS CSGO being 2.4 I used to play 2.4 @ 400dpi in cs and had a HS% of 80 and above but once i switched it feels like the aim is more shaky and unstable but in BF4 it's spot on all the time. I don't get it, any ideas?
  15. On rainbow 6 I use 15-15-65 as my sens (400 dpi), on the website i got 13.02 as my sens for hipfire which feels right but I can't figure out how to get my ADS sensitivity of 65 on r6 to match on CoD with relative. I'm not sure to find it
  16. Hey everyone! I need your help. I recently got into osu and I'm trying to convert my sensitivity over from Overwatch. My monitor is 27 inches, my DPI I use for everything = 3200 and my sensitivity in game for OW is 3.60. Thanks in advance to anyone that sees this and responds! All the best to you.
  17. My Apex Legends settings are 16:9 1920x1080 110 fov at 3 sens CSGO setting is 4:3 1280x1024. I tried the sensitivity at 3 but it was too fast even though the games are meant to share the same sensitivity values. Anyone help me calculate what I should have?
  18. I'm not sure what's happening, but I cannot seem to get the right 360 distance at all. I've used the calculator for quite some time and I've never encountered a problem like this. Am I doing something wrong? [Yes im aware of Counter Strikes fov being limited to 90 when using the 4:3, Im just using the image as an example :)]
  19. So, I've been reading a lot of posts (Skidushe's post twice) watching videos and other posts in the forum trying to learn and understand all this sensitivity calculations. I now understand better but still not quite sure if I'm getting the best results. I also chatted a little with Drimzi on Kovaaks discord but don't want to be bothering him that much you know. Would guys give me some advice? I play a variety of FPS (PUBG, Apex, OW, R6, Splitgate, Black Squad, etc) My goal is to be sure I'm "exporting" my Kovaaks training gains into other games, say Apex. In Kovaaks I'm using Overwatch as base game, 103 FOV and 9 sens with 400 dpi ( Full HD 24.5 in monitor, windows default 6/11). I'm getting a lot better and following Aimer7's guide also feedback from discord fam as well. Before knowing all this conversion techniques I used cm/360 measurement (38.4 cm) to set my sens between shooter games. Trying to match my ADS cm/360 in APEX to my Kovaaks/OW cm/360. How naive I was not even considering FOV's, scales, etc. Something was wrong with that method, sens was not feeling good so I started digging and here I am. After reading Skidushes post I tried Horizontal Monitor Distance 0% method first. The results I got was 3.23 hipfire and 1.0 for all the scopes. In game, the hipfire was faster but felt accurate in terms of monitor distance, got no problem to adapt to this speed. The scopes are all very slow and I have a hard time tracking my targets, since apex is quite heavy on tracking this is not working for me. Per Drimzi's advice I used Visuomotor method on his calculator but got the very same results I got from MMH0%. MMV0% give me virtually the same results as well. So after doing some more research, found some people saying Viewspeed was the best method for gamers who use low sens as me, because MMH0% is good for the accuracy very close to de crosshair but hard on large flicks and tracking, make sens to me. Tried Viewspeed Vertical method for all conversion setups and got these results: This felt way better in both hipfire and scopes, I was able to track a lot better with the scopes zoomed in. As I'm writing this post this are the settings used in game, problem is, now I feel they are a bit faster and my idea is to tweak them down a little to find a sweetspot and try them like this in other games to see how I do in reality. My only concern now is if I'm doing things right or on the contrary, messing all up and screwing everything up. Would it be better to try hipfire 360° conversion and viewspeed the scopes? Should I stick to the MMV0% and get used to that slowish feeling? Should I convert my OW sens to APEX ADS in the calculator instead MMV0%? I know I'm overthinking too much and maybe is irrelevant, but some guidance would be very appreciate it. Remember My goal is to be sure I'm "exporting" my Kovaaks training gains into other games. Thank you in advance Just to update this issue: I stick to MMV0% although it feels slowish when using high zoom scopes its only a matter of getting used to it. Being sticking to this method and I do feel consistency across games (Apex, PUBG, OW, R6, Destiny 2, Splitgate) Important to mention that I'm trying to set very similar FOV's among the games to keep the consistency as well. Base game is OW FOV 103 400 dpi 9 in game sens
  20. So basically my Artisan FX Zero Soft finally came in, I bought it due to it being described as just a much much higher end Steelseries QCK+ mousepad. While using it I noticed a few things. First off, my sensitivity feels a lot faster, BUT I still am able to maintain control. Second off, I have more horizontal space to move my mouse. My question is, should I change my sens so it feels like it used to on my QCK, or should I just get used to this new feeling. I imagine that if I just stick with my old sens I'll get the best of both worlds (faster aiming and more control), so what do you guys think? For context, I have 1.5k hours in CSGO, and many more in all sorts of FPS games, all using the same sensitivity (22.8 in per 360). I don't think it would be wise to switch mainly for this reason.
  21. I don't know how to convert my Overwatch sense to Osu. I've been trying and I cant figure out how to convert 103 degree turn distance to 1920 2d distance. here's all the info the website asks for. I meant to put 24 in the monitor inch for Overwatch as well.
  22. Hey everyone I'm having some trouble converting my zoom sensitivity from Overwatch to the scoped sensitivity in Fortnite. Would someone mind giving me a quick rundown on how to do it properly? Apologies if the answer is right in my face, I just got premium and can't seem to figure it out. Thanks for the time. DPI: 1550 Overwatch hipfire/normal sens: 2.52 Overwatch zoom (ana/widowmaker) sens: 46 Fortnite hipfire/normal sens: .03
  23. I've tried 0% but I feel that it is tad bit slow so I tried out 56.25% but was told that people used that measurement when a vertical option didn't exist, instead use vertical monitor match 100%? What does vertical option mean exactly I'm a bit new so It's not to obvious to me. Distance vertical 100% = 56.25%. So do I just use 100% monitor distance vertical for every game? Also what do you think about view speed as I'm considering it as an option. Final thing (56.25%): One of the games that I play has a different fov multiplier for different guns (fov=64.375 for ak and 73.57142857142857 for revolver) as well as different sens. So what I did was convert my csgo sens to kovaaks at 1:1 fov measurement for kovaaks (that's how the fov of the game is measured apparently) and then used the program sensitivity matcher to match those different sens. Then I went ingame and sens matched again to get the values: Tesing 76% 2.2740 eg 1.72824 360/cm monitor matching 56.25% for ads { hipfire fov: 103 Rev- Rev sens based of kovaaks(fov=73.57142857142857):1.7242938 sens matcher: 0.0379345 (rough) sens ingame: 0.386218 Ak- Ak sens based on of kovaaks(fov=64.375): 1.5087572 sens matcher: 0.0331927 (rough) sens ingame: 0.386218 } as you can see the values are the same for both weapons, wouldn't these make it inaccurate? Also monitor distance vertical 100% would be the exact same so yeah I don't really understand could someone clarify this for me? Thanks
  24. Hello community ! I have one more issue to nag about in C.S 1.6. DPI Wizard, I'm aware you're already working on monitor match at different FOVs, but I need to address another problem, unfortunately. And that is the following: The game has horrible mouse acceleration, mostly negative thus making small adjustments in aim almost impossible to handle ( more of this I will explain thoroughly in another post + a possible fix for it ). I will keep it short - when attempting to match the sensitivity of CS:GO in CS 1.6 and converting it with the 360 method, all good ( almost ); but moving the mouse across fewer degrees ( 90, 45, 30 ) on the screen, results in a 10 to 20% "loss" in sensitivity. To clarify it, imagine you need 9cm to move across a 53.13 degree field of view & about 30 to do a 180 turn. But, upon testing it, I realized that the 9cm required movement isn't 9, but closer to 7/8, whilst the value for a 180 turn remains unchanged ( almost, as the acceleration sux ). Is there anything that can be done for it ? I've read some forums, and I ain't the only one that realized the issue, a lot of peeps said to decrease the sensitivity to about 20% of your initial one. Have a wonderful day, Munty
