mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_1 "1.0"

mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_3 "1.0"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_4 "1.0"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_5 "1.0"

Do we have to change these?

What are these different zoom sens scalars? Vv8D4Ye.png

Currently these (1-5) doesn't seem to do anything, but we can always hope they will add more granular control of the scope sensitivity in the future!

So there is no way currently to make ironsight sensitivity the same as hip sensitivity?

Same as in 360 distance or monitor match? Both should be possible for ironsight.

I believe 360?  I just want ironsight distance to be the 20.4545' like the hip fire.

Switch the ADS option in conversion setup to 360 distance, and you should get around 1.4xxxxx.

Thanks.  Do I change all the mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar values or just the 0 value?

Just the 0 value, the rest doesn't seem to do anything as of now.

Yes, if you play 4:3 in cs:go.

Does this game has some kind of smoothing or something like that ? i have same sens in apex and in kovaaks but in kovaaks the aim feels more precise and manageable but in apex i feel it like smoothed/delayed/weird

How can I get my Overwatch scoped sensitivity to match my ADS in the mouse sens calculator?

My Overwatch Ana scoped sens is 45.44 and my scoped 360 distance in Overwatch is 33.344 inches, but I can't seem to replicate this in Apex Legends using the calculator.

Alternatively is there a way to make my Apex Legends hipfire sensitivity match my ADS sensitivity 1 to 1?

My Overwatch Ana scoped sens is 45.44 and my scoped 360 distance in Overwatch is 33.344 inches, but I can't seem to replicate this in Apex Legends using the calculator.

You could try one of the following:

First Option: 45.44 Ana/Widowmaker Multiplier is an increase of ~1.2x sensitivity over the baseline (hipfire sensitivity). Since Apex Legends natively preserves the baseline sensitivity, you could set the ADS multiplier to 1.2.

Calculation:

100 * (tan(30 * pi/360) / (9/16 tan(103 * pi/360))) = ~37.89
45.44 / 37.89 = ~1.2

Second Option: Try the Monitor Distance Match conversion using the % that results in 45.44.

  • MDV 133.918744 %

  • MDH 75.329294 %

Apex Legends' native scaling at 1.0 multiplier is "1:1", preserving the sensitivity of the mouse and the infinitesimal distance. If you want to increase the sensitivity to preserve a distance characteristic instead (such as 360 distance or an arbitrary 2D monitor distance), then that is only possible by setting the multiplier to a value where it would be true for 1 weapon magnification.

Hi!

Just purchased premium and are not really sure how to convert sens from Overwatch Ashe ADS to Apex ADS.

Overwatch settings:
3.33 sens
800 DPI
Ashe zoom sens: 51.47
Fov: 103

I get the hipfire conversion to 0.999000, which feels right. But then i get the mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0 "1.554324" which feels way to high.

Could someone tell me what the correct FoV and cl_fovScale value in Apex is if my FoV in Black ops 4 is 100

Is the correct cl_fovScale for this: 1.1964(100/83.58) or 1.17875(when you enter 83.5 in game)

Also am i doing this correct with convert my sens from Black ops 4 to Apex?

Were you ever able to figure this out? If so could you convert mine?

1600 dpi

ow sens: 1.75

ashe zoom : 51.47

fov: 103

No, but i found out Apex is on Source engine so 1.0 hipfire in Apex is 1.0 in CS:GO.
The ADS i'm still unsure of.

Use 1.194 as FOV. The conversion is correct.

For anyone wondering about FOV:

I've added a Hipfire (Config File FOV) aim to the game when you have location config file selected.

Use this to calculate the correct FOV to use in the config file. Just change the FOV Type to the kind you want to convert from, and check the output for the correct config value.

I'll update all config file calculations with this at a later point as it needs some code update to work properly with scopes and ADS.

Which one? %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local?

Yeah the only file path that im finding is Local Disk (E:)\ Program files (x86)\ Origin games\ Apex, apart from the origin launch files. I downloaded the game onto another drive seperate from the regualar C : drive so idk where its at

Where you install it shouldn't affect it, this file is located on your user account.

BTW if you're unfamiliar with the variables in Windows, %USERPROFILE% is not a folder you can see on your drives, it redirects you to your users folder, i.e. C:\Users\DPI Wizard\, then the rest are folders under there. You should be able to copy this entire string into the Windows explorer address bar and you will see the file.

If your still not seeing anything, try to make some changes to to the sensitivity in-game, exit and see if the file has been created.
