Guys, sorry if this is a basic question or it was expalined earlier but i don't get. What I'm suppoused to do with FPP_MouseZoomFactor. There are so many entries on calculator and only one in config file. Should I copy it and paste it like this?

Pick a gun and scope you like the most, and use that value. You can't have an accurate sens on all guns and scopes at the same time.

What I did was I just chose the median of all the values, so at least it's ballpark there. But I use MDV 0% method, so mine only differed by +/- 0.05

I dont think the ads fov is simple subtraction. You can set the fov to 30 and scopes will still work fine without going into the negatives.

Updated all them now!

Try this
https://github.com/yamashi/PerformanceOverhaulCyberpunk

apparently someone fixed the input. not sure if is the actual raw mouse thingy.

  • virtual_input: Not performance related, fixes the input so you can use Steam controllers.

guy implemented it from the source in reddit

https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kb73fr/fix_for_virtual_input_not_working/

pls lemme know if it works better. can't play atm.

Whenever I try to edit this file for decimal sensitivity and FOV, my game crashes upon an attempt to start it. Does anyone else have this issue?

Edit: I tried to just change the max values, instead of both the values and max values, and my problem went away. Thanks!

Yep. Ran into that error today. Seems they patched it out.

I tried editing the options file to increase fov limit and ADS limit but when I searched for "name": "FPP_MouseZoomFactor", and "name": "FieldOfView", it found no results. I also tried increasing the max value in the normal config file that you change your sensitivity in but when I launched the game it returned it to its default values. Any help on this please?

Hi, I am mainly tying to adjust my sensitivity to work with high DPI but when I change the min value for 'FPP_MouseX' it still won't allow me to go lower. It just resets the values in JSON file. Same thing happens when I try to get 130 FOV using the method in the notes. Is there something I can do?

I'm playing right now actually so I just tested it again, and it works here:

PS, make sure you do this in the [GAME FOLDER]\r6\config\settings\platform\pc\options.json file, and not the %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\UserSettings.json file you set the actual sensitivity and FOV in.

Ahhhh, I didn't do it there. I should let you know that in the notes it quotes to do it in the app data folder.

Will changing my sensitivity in the JSON that I should've been changing my FOV in work for my sensitivity as well? Because I remember I've manged it before, I just don't know how.

It should say this:

Unless I missed it somewhere it should point to the correct file.

The options.json file is just for the max values, if you change the "value" there, the game will actually crash on launch. So the "value" setting must only be changed in the UserSettings.json file.

My apologies... I think I copy/pasted the link from the usual config spot.

Will that work for min values as well then?

Hi @DPI Wizard

Can you explain why, for zoom sensitivity, a config value of say 1.646039 translates to an in game value of 1.55 in the calculator but in game the config value gets rounded up to 1.65?

Is there a reason for that or is it a calculator error?

Cheers.

I'm not exactly sure what you are doing to see this, but note that when you are converting to Cyberpunk and switch between in-game and config file, the in-game main look/hipfire sensitivity does not support any decimals. So it will likely have a quite big inaccuracy. The aim sensitivity will compensate for this inaccuracy as best it can with the two decimals supported for it, to get the sensitivity as close to the target as possible.

@DPI Wizard but surely the calculator should still return 1.6 or 1.65 for the zoom in game since that's what the game sets

note, the only thing I'm changing is the in game / config drop down on the calculator

You can't set the sensitivity to 4.07 in-game, so the calculation is basing the ADS sensitivity on a sensitivity of 4. If you switch to Advanced mode you will see that the 360 distances are as close as they can be within the confines of the amount of decimal places available. Also note that the ADS sensitivity in this game scales logarithmically. Here's a direct conversion between the two hipfire sensitivities: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3e4c3ddbdfd0837ece7d3f1f0a19ce74
