stereo3D Premium Members August 10, 20214 yr Author stats the config is overwritten by steam cloud (options - steam cloud - disable). there are options for raw input and FOV (options - multiplayer - FOV). fov_desired "104.821821" cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor "90" m_rawinput "1"
Talcazzar Members January 20, 20224 yr Author stats I feel this could be updated to reflect the added support for changing FOV, especially now that sv_cheats being required is no longer true. "fov_desired" ( def. "90" ) min. 75.000000 max. 120.000000 client archive user - Sets the base field-of-view for non-splitscreen. Works and is the same as the (Options -> Multiplayer -> Field of View) slider.

Sean1989 Premium Members November 22, 20232 yr Author stats If Im trying to find what the equivalent of 59 Vfov would be in Fov_desired terms. How can I figure that? I did a basic proportion equation to get 76.507 (rounded), but I cant be 100% sure its correct. I got this by multiplying 90 Hfov by 90.33. (59vfov to hfov) then dividing that by 106.2602 which is the 16:3 ratio equivalent of Fov_desired 90. Am I correct or is it possible to unlock the fov field in the calculator?

The FOV field is unlocked for L4D2, but the minimum FOV is 75, while 59 vdeg is 74.059153. So the closest you can get it 75.
Supernovae Premium Members January 2, 20251 yr Author stats Hi, how do I set scope sensitivity? I can't find it in the config file

I can't find it in the config file The method for setting the scope sensitivity involves insecure developer add-ons or workarounds that can also be used for cheating. The calculation is there for those who know the procedure and what they are doing, but the steps are not disclosed as they can be used to execute non-cheat flagged commands that give big advantages in competitive play (at least this was the case about 4-5 years ago).
