Use the config file and not the in game sliders. You will get a much better result.

As a general rule if it is available you should always do this. Many games just do not offer the necessary precision with in game options.

thx for that, but i cannot find a config file for Hunt:Showdown

the calculator tells you where the config is in the game info section.

if you still can't find it, right click on the game in your library, select properties -> local files -> browse local files -> \user\profiles\default\attributes.xml (open with notepad++)

thx a lot ... i got it

for example why should the aperture sense be higher than the iron sight?

BTW if it's not clear, the calculator is not matching the 360 distance between hipfire and the scopes. It matches in your case 75% horizontal monitor distance, which means moving to a target 75% between you crosshair and the edge of the monitor will be the same. The 360 distance will be very different, and it should be.

I can't find the folders in the config anymore. I can only find "mouse sensitivity" in a different path, "[E]>SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>HuntShowdown>user>profiles>default>attributes"

Check the game notes ;)

Sensitivity values in the config file will not appear unless they are changed in-game first.

The config file might have changed, I'll check it out.

I've change in-game sens many times, I'll try to do it then exit immediately, then change, if that helps. Other than that, I don't know what you mean by changing in-game sens first.

If the in-game sensitivity is at the default value, the config file will not show them. But I'll check now if there have been some changes.

Are the converted sensitivities supposed to give the different sensitivities the same feel (in a similar way to how BF USA normalizes aim feel) ? I tried converting my Rainbow Six aim to Hunt Showdown and the Hunt Showdown Ironsight sensitivity is noticeably slower/sluggish.

The scope sensitivity in Hunt are completely independent of each other and does not resemble anything like USA. The ironsight does have a quite narrow FOV as well (nearly half of R6!), so it will be very slow compared to ironsight in R6.

So how they feel depends on your conversion setup.

Sorry it's been a long day and I didn't english good in my original post.

I know they are all independent, I was only using BF as a reference for how the aim feels when you use USA in BF :)

What I meant regarding the Hunt ironsight value is that it feels really slow and sluggish compared to my hunt showdown hip fire, not rainbow six. When I'm aiming in Hunt showdown, I don't have a problem snapping to targets with hipfire but when I ADS (using the converted sensitivity from the calculator) I'm always way to short when trying to snap. By like half the distance. So something there is not cooperating with my muscle memory.

Ultimately what I am trying to do is have a sensitivity that feels the exact same for Rainbow Six hipfire, Rainbow six 1x ADS, Hunt showdown hipfire, and Hunt showdown ironsight ads. Basically a manual version of BFs USA. Sorry, I've never used the calculator before so I might just be using it wrong. That's totally possible lol.

What's your conversion setup like?

This should work fine, ideally set the Hunt FOV to 74 as well if possible. Note that this will make tracking a target the same movement between scopes. Anything else like moving to the edge or doing a 360 will be different.

Thanks for your help. I will try it out :)

@DPI Wizard

Just wanted to let you know that the limits to the sensitivity values in the menu do not apply to the config file.  I am able to go well below 0.1 sensitivity for all settings listed by modifying them in the config file only.  The menu still lists them as 0.1, but the config file appears unaltered, even after changing some other unrelated settings.
