October 23, 20187 yr Hello, when I select a conversion of horizontal match 75% from Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Hipfire to ADS (Reflex), keeping the mouse_ads_monitor_distance_coefficient = "1.33" then I would expect the conversion to leave mouse_ads_yaw_ads_multiplier = "1.00000". This is the case when I set the ADS Field of View to "Independent", but it is not the case when I set it to Affected (then it is mouse_ads_yaw_ads_multiplier = "1.03919"). The same holds true for a monitor match of 71.5%, where I would set mouse_ads_monitor_distance_coefficient = "1.2711", which should result in mouse_ads_yaw_ads_multiplier = "1.00000", but with ADS Field of View "Affected" it is mouse_ads_yaw_ads_multiplier = "1.04577". Is this a bug of the site or a bug of the game?
October 23, 20187 yr Wizard I think this is a quirk in the game since the sensitivity is based on the 4:3 portion of the FOV. So with 4:3 resolutions you will get mouse_ads_yaw_ads_multiplier=1 with Affected as well. But it might be a bug introduced when the Hdeg 16:9 FOV Type was added, I'll verify it later today! October 23, 20187 yr Author So you think that it is the game's fault or the calculator's fault? Because if it is a bug of the game (and the calculated values are correct), then I would stick with independent ADS Field of View.
October 23, 20187 yr Wizard I think it's the game, but I'm not 100% sure until I verify it. I'll update this thread when I've tested it. Join the community on Discord!
October 23, 20187 yr Author Btw: If you're correct, then, for the time being, one could just multiply the correct value (f.e. for 75% 1.33) with 1.333333333333333 (1 1/3) to get the correct value for mouse_ads_monitor_distance_coefficient . Edited October 23, 20187 yr by NilValue
October 23, 20187 yr Wizard Seems like the bug is in the calculator actually, I'll have to do some verification and will update it later. Join the community on Discord!

October 23, 20187 yr definitely a bug in the calculator. ads multi should be 1 with both affected and independent fov.
October 23, 20187 yr Wizard Fixed it now, it was locked to 4:3 FOV while the correct is locked to 16:9 FOV. Thanks a lot for the report! Join the community on Discord!

October 23, 20187 yr Wizard BTW this means that using other aspect ratios than 16:9 will result in the coefficient being "off" since the FOV in the calculation is locked to 16:9. Join the community on Discord!
