Is it only released certain places?

It should be available to all, but many people have been having the similar issue you've been having. Try searching up "halo 5 bundle" on the store and downloading that.

 

If it still doesn't let you, or you can't find it, you may not have the anniversary update for windows 10. If you haven't gotten that, you can easily get it by going on the get windows 10 page and clicking update now. It'll download an .exe that'll take you through the update process

Tried, and just get this

This issue is due to not having the anniversary update, as one of the comments here solved his issue by updating to it

In order to force update to the anniversary update, you update by clicking update now and go through the update process and clear up space if you need to.

Could we get halo 5: forge from the windows store? It's free as well.

Halo 5: Forge has a ton of mouse acceleration at the moment, event with "raw" mouse input on. So much that I can't make any sensible calculations :/

mouse support in halo 5 has lots of issues:

 

gamepad sensitivity affects mouse sensitivity.

slower mouse movements are affected acceleration.

high input lag.

 

with 120 fps cap the acceleration gets very strong but can be decreased by maxing out the gamepad sensitivity.

All weapons afaik are just a relative to your normal sensitivity.

 

E.g. 0.5 ADS would mean half sensitivity and therefore twice the distance per 360.

 

The only thing are sharpshooter weapons which would be nice to know the calculations for.

 

Also a ton of the weapons have different FOVs. Like even some of SMGs have different FOV values from eachother.

BioShock Remastered works just like BioShock

 

Path: %APPDATA%\BioshockHD\Bioshock

 

default FOV: 75 | Horizontal Degrees (Resolution Base)

 

affected by FOV ( default FOV / setFOV )

 

however, the expand FOV option doesn't affect the sensitivity, so it works pretty much like FOV type 4:3 base.

I have some serious acceleration problems with this game, apparently hooking up a controller helps so I need to try that.

EDIT: Fixed it sorry for the bother, If you select Hipfire it does not work. You have to select: Hipfire (Simple)

You need to fill in additional values found in the config file if you select Hipfire
