Rainbow Six Siege ADS Sens To COD:WARZONE ADS Sens

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! I would be very happy if someone helped me get out of this situation.

So I have converted my Normal R6S Sensivity to COD Warzone Sensivity from your site and  my siege sens is: 11  Converted COD:Warzone Sens is: 9.54

Im fine with my main sens converted to warzone but the ads sens is the one I can't figure out! After Shadow Legacy siege had bunch of new optics wich zoom and because of that a bunch of new ads sens settings.

I will go ahead and type all the new ADS Settings i have on siege and can someone convert that to warzone please? Thanks!

Mouse ADS Sensivity: Advanced

Standard ADS Sensivity: 71

1.0x Magnification: 50

1.5x Magnification: 83

2.0x Magnification: 85

2.5x Magnification: 86

3.0x Magnification: 87

And 4.0x is 88

So there is only 2 settings for ads in warzone seems like Low zoom and high zoom and what will i have to input over here? Thank you again!

What is your current settings? The calculator needs to be configured to reflect your settings as close as possible.

Ok. I'll list my settings in a sec but i would like to understand it so i can do it by myself with other game.

So my problem is that hipfire is top notch i always manage to be able to convert it from siege to any other game but when it come to ads is where things get tricky for example in MW OF BFV

You have coefficient and i don't know what is the coefficient in siege. So should i play MW OR BFV at 0 / 133 / 178 i don't know and this is what bother me ...

Here is my settings in siege.

Sens

H/V: 8

DPI: 400

ASPECT RATIO: 16:9

FOV: 88

1x: 58

1.5x: 97

2x: 99

2.5x: 101

3x: 102

4x: 103

5x: 103

12x: 159

image.png.d2bd5558f45017b27a54d6b0c6618f64.pngthe reason why ubi implemented the new system is that the old values were not good so there is little reason to match

Ok so what you guys are trying to say to me is that " using different value for every scope is not the play ? "

I do not want to argue with you guys because " well " you guys knows on this topic way more than me, but in siege you are clearing a lot of angle by being scoped in and " if " i give this a try let say put every scope at 50

What you guys are saying is that i will be able to have the same feeling in other games by just setting the hipfire sens and then use 0% but every scope will have a different movement/cm ?

Do i get it correctly ? ( Sorry for my english i'm french )

And  by the way thanks a lot already !

pretty much i think there was a guy somewhere around here that spoke french.

found it below

he did a tutorial in 2019 and one more recently i don't fully understand french so i need to rely on visual ques as well as some words that sound similar enough to recommend if you prefer french.

but jist of it is that scopes across different games are hardly ever the same fov even 1x scopes wont ever be identical fov wise so matching them based on a distance will always feel "weird " the more the zoom diverts from what you originally learned .

the thought behind 0% is to have a uniform method for all scopes that might not be the same distance but has the same "feel" to it once you got used to the method since it matches

image.png.aca3f1da57b0806aff1bbc37112de087.png

the distance changes but the "pixel ration" is the same which will feel intuitive once you are used to it cutting warm up time and other factors

----

only thing i am not fully aware off  in the video would be the 0% vs 0-4% mdv  thought the smaller values should be indistinguishable

image.png.f76457a6d6e275ac36f036fadcee2070.png

so there is much to critic about this aspect :)

@Layead   is the author of the video above , solid work

hopefully doing well in times like these

Waw ! I just woke and this is what i found.

Bro i couldn't thank you enough, as i have plenty of games but only playing siege in a worry to not messed up my muscle memory !

Alright so if i get it correctly what you're saying is that is better now for to use the " 0% " in siege and well rebuilt my muscle memory from the ground up so i can be able to just find the perfect " hipfite " and then use 0% in any game and therefore even if in siege there is no let say 6x if in another there is one it will be intuitive to me to play with it instead of using different value ?

So 50 everywhere in siege when it come to ads and then 0% in every other game and i should be fine ? Ok i get it.

Just one last question. Alright for the 0% that's cool but if the game have value to his ads like battlefield which has 100% ads for example, i will not have to change that value since i'm on 0% am i right there ?

And it's ok, i fully understand english i just don't speak it that well.

Again ! You made my day and many more to come man, so thank you a lot ! I'll give your video a try maybe those dark area in my brain about ads will lighten up.

Thanks man 🔥🙌🏼

that whole muscle memory thing is a whole different rabbit hole to get into but essentially.     yes i would consider that recommendable

that is what many of us use https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=ceb3d1a9b5dff8fa5581efb6a505a942 this would be what i am currently using

battlefield lets you set your uniform soldier coefficient to "Coefficient 0%" which is pretty much 0% in the calculator

same thing for cod image.png.0efd71518d27605bf68724a585db0c11.png

this topic can be a huge rabbit hole to get into the math completely understand others asking questions kind of difficult to find out about all of this with very little good information out there

very few of those with a huge audience care enough to do proper research. this creates a lot of misconceptions and misinformation.

able to just find the perfect " hipfite "

the thing i generally suggest would be image.png.b7932b3ea47a9fbf4263714f71067fa9.png using auto fov to let the calculator match fov from game a to game b

in your case we would set it to 88 ( since you got 88 fov) on Vdeg since that is what r6 siege uses by default the calculator takes that and converts it to whatever  fov type the other game uses and inserts it for you giving you the option to have the same 360 distance+ feel in  hipfire

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

there is there is the option to match windows desktop to game https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=d76fedfe3e2be0f6e7d66b7ac7dabd6c

once again you can insert whatever value you like / prefer some like 0%mdh/ mdv other use mdh 100% or even mdh 200%

no need to do so you can also find a value you like in game then convert that value to other games  works fine

-----------------------------------------------------------

in which case you can adjust this image.png.ce555538285665f70e025f3cc86ece43.png to whatever value you like

and you can also image.png.38d6148ed7ab2156c20528b3d92ac88d.pngchange both dpi and windows pointer speed ( usually defaults at 6/11)

(4/11 is 0.5 x dpi )   (3/11 is 0.25 x dpi ) in my case 1600x 0,25 is similar to 400 dpi in feel

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:) hope i didn't confuse

No, don't worry, it will take me quiet time to understand everything that you just say but i will dive into the instruction to further increase my understanding of the subject, so no that's cool man !

Thanks to you i just set every of my games today so this is done now ! Except for one " Apex " this one has his fov max out to 106 if i get it right so my problem is that when i use the calculator with " TARGET FOV " and use well 88 since i'm converting from R6 it gives me 119.5595...... Which from my understanding is the HORIZONTAL FOV in my case 88V = 119H so the calculator give me values such as " cl_fovScale " and all scopes " mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar " but since apex caps its fov it seems like the calculator doesn't take that into account and therefore i'm wondering if those values are right ?

And obviously now i'm stuck since i don't have enough knowledge to overcome this school case ..

So i put 73 as the " TARGET FOV " so it give me 106 on the apex side and i'm gonna rock with that let me know if it was the right move. Thanks man

apex should go up to 88

you can set them here image.png.2a79f08fa8809f0c3688880a396d1835.png

106 would be 4:3 hdeg if i am not mistaken

Hi man, so i search on the website to understand that coefficient thing and want to know if get it right ? Can you help me here too see if i get it ?

178% = let say my crosshair is at what is in the middle of my screen facing a player and in my field of view ( with scope ) there is two players at the edges of my screen one left one right. What 178% will do is giving me the same mouse movement as my " hipfire " for THAT SPECIFIC movement which is from middle of my FOV to the edge of it ?

133% will give me the same mouse movement this time not from the middle to the edge of my fov but to 75% of it.

And 0% will just scale the mouse movement from the fov ( the zoom ) of my scope.

Is that right ?
