Sorry if this is common knowledge or already be answered but if I set my settings to legacy MW and config my ads multiplier to each zoom like for low zoom, 2-3x and so on, will this be better than just using relative with all multipliers set to 1

Those two options are completely different, so neither is better.

Legacy MW is based on a fixed FOV og 65 Hdeg 4:3 while relative is based on your configured FOV.

But if your preferred conversion method is MDV 0%, using Relative and coefficient 0 is the correct way to do it.

Ok thanks I would just like to know how I can get it so when I ADS with different zooms, my sense scales with the new zoomed fov so I can remain accurate as possible

Relative with does that based on you hipfire FOV.

Here's a link to a video talking about how the m_yaw settings are different. Can someone please watch this and tell me if there is any truth to it, and if it's something I should even worry about. I've only been on MnK for a little over a year so all this is greek to me.

It's amazing that these kind of videos get even one positive feedback, and people saying it helped them. I hope for humanity's sake those comments are bought...

This setting is the yaw speed for KEYBOARD and gamepad. It affects how fast the camera is rotating when you use your keyboard and hold down a button to rotate. It has nothing to do with mouse input. Changing this value has ZERO impact on mouse sensitivity.

I've already shown that there is no inherent issue with the sensitivity in this game, it is 100% precise and there's no acceleration or inaccuracy:

Can you tell me how to achieve the same sensitivity for all 1x, but still maintain normal (without flying into the stratosphere from speed) sensitivity on high magnification sights? Is this even possible?

So far I have only 2 choices: either shoot well with high magnification sights, but constantly miss after switching to smg/rifle, or hit perfectly with all 1x, but be unable to shoot with high magnification sights because of too high sensitivity.

You have separate sensitivity settings for the different zoom levels, so what is preventing you from setting different sensitivity for low and high zoom?

The problem is that different types of weapons have different sensitivities in iron sight/1x. I can set any sensitivity that I find comfortable and hit the target, let's say, with a 1x assault rifle scope, but as soon as I switch to a submachine gun or shotgun, I'll stop hitting altogether because the sensitivity is different.

P.S.: It's not critical when it comes to different high-magnification scopes, but it's quite irritating when the sensitivity in ADS changes when switching between weapon types.

Suppose, in Apex Legends, there's also different magnification with sights for different weapon types... BUT! When you use a 1x sight, the sensitivity becomes the same. But how to achieve the same effect in CoD is a mystery.

You can adjust the coefficient which in turn affects all aims. To mimic how it works in Apex it should be set to 0.

Sadly, once again, it's a miss. Even if you set it to 0 and the apex sensation returns, it doesn't change the fact that the sensitivity will be different for different weapon types. Already checked.

What do you mean by different exactly? If you set it to 0, all the aims will have the same tracking speed. The 360 distance will be different because their FOV is different.

If the tracking speed is the same, why can't I hit properly when I change my rifle to SMG or pistol? It feels like the sensitivity is changing. I never got used to it....

 

I just really don't get it... I would be glad to have any advice on how to either fix it or get used to this feature faster.

Marksman and TYR are the same as the AR iron sight, I've updated the descriptions now. The Basilisk is the same as the rest of the handguns.

Can you also take a look pls at Cronen Intlas MSP 12 optics. It seems not to match any of ADS categories like Corvus Sol-76 and SZ-Sro-7 and also like those two looks like it needs a separate ADS sens  since its scaled differently

I have used the calculator to convert my CS2 sensitivity (2.2 / 400) to COD MW3, which comes to 7.333.  It also says my vertical multiplier in COD should be .92

I am a bit confused however because of the monitor coefficient setting in COD.  Should my vertical multiplier be set to .92 based on the default coefficient setting of 1.333?

or, with having the monitor coefficient at 1.333 should I keep the vertical multiplier to 1.0 to resemble CS2.

 

1280x960 in  CS2, 1920x1080 in COD
