  1. You're correct. It's just that some people miss the human factor in it and others deny modern sensors having any drift, so I guess I was just covering the possibility.
  2. Windows 10, Logitech G Pro Superlight in wireless mode, 1000hz, 800dpi. BTW the cursor drifting upwards or downwards when making side to side motions is how you grip your mouse, if you keep doing perfectly horizontal lines, it wont drift up or down, but we humans tend to make small circular motions and this causes the drift, at least when talking purely left-right motions.
  3. Are we sure the Polygon calculator is up to date? It seems to give wrong results for me at least at 360/cm department and in-game ADS sensitivity calculation fails always saying the value is outside of the limits.
  4. Is this game even alive? The steam page looks really barren. Maybe I'm looking at a wrong one?
  5. Yes, meaning not changing the sensitivity at all when changing between 4:3 and 16:9, that's how I've been doing personally. It gets messy real fast if you start switching sensitivities with aspect ratios. Sorry for super late reply, btw.
  6. Personally I would just keep the same sense and be done with it.
  7. I would assume it's the sensitivity for the freelook you get while holding left Alt
  8. Why not options for config file? It's available in the folder Spunky pointed above.
  9. ...Great. "We are gonna make a first person shooter game and not include good sensitivity options, because they're not important anyway, right?"
  10. Wait, there's no sensitivity setting in-game? WTF?
  11. @DPI Wizard Thank you. I knew I could count on you.
  12. Try MDH 100%, MDV 133.334% or MDV 100%. These are the most common ones, which you've been accustomed into if you have played without changing the ADS multiplier in first person shooters. It's mainly these and 0% that developers choose for their games.
  13. @DPI Wizard Would it be possible to have sensitivities for vehicles also? You can tune it with that "Vehicle view mode" multiplier, as you most certainly know already.
  14. I wonder what the command GstInput.SmoothZoomInputSensitivity 1 does in the settings file? Possibly the transition of the sensitivity while zooming in?
  15. Send a bug report for that. It's different between Europe and America how we write our decimals. In NA its 1.0 and in Europe 1,0 AFAIK.
  16. Thank you. Your fast work is much appreciated!
  17. @DPI Wizard There have been multiple updates to the sensitivity and such, the calculator is basically broken for POLYGON currently. Please check it out if you have time.
  18. Personally I always match hipfire with 360 distance and scopes with MDV 0%.
  19. I hope DPI Wizard comes and explains why that is misunderstanding about the whole concept of matching 2D and 3D. English not being my native language makes it too difficult to word such an explanation and to be quite honest, I'm too lazy to even try, haha. Short and sweet: The difference between the dots is because other is movement in 2D plane and another is 3D movement around your camera. This thing you are thinking in your head will never succeed and if you could make it somehow match at one place at one sensitivity, it would feel all kinds of weird. Sorry to crush your dreams, its sad but true.
  20. I am not going to argue about this so take it as you will, but muscle memory is just a myth. When you are good at aiming, you can get used to any sensitivity in limits of reason in couple of hours. I mean sensitivities from around 10cm/360 to 80cm/360 at least. You don't have to trust me, go to any high tier aiming community discord, like yuki aim or so and ask them. If you know who AIMER7 is, ask him, I'm quite sure he'll back me up on this. At least we were in agreement the last time I spoke with him. Basically higher sensitivity is always better, the best would be to use the highest sens you are able to control. More agility and faster turns never hindered anyone, you know. Argument for slow sensitivity is that it's more consistent because errors in your mouse control cause less drastic mistakes, but it also makes you slower. I personally see overly slow sensitivities as a crutch for bad mouse control. If you need something like 60cm/360 to aim well, you need to practice and maybe upgrade your gear.
  21. Oh my... My message in this thread didn't age well... Sorry for bringing this thread back from dead.
  22. So pretty much what I've learned to expect from Ubisoft at this point. Thanks for the answer.
