  1. I was really really wondering if it is possible to allow monitor distance to have decimals since I would like to use a coefficient I calculated.
  2. Hmmm it's doing it for other games too and happens on other DPIs. Another thing I've noticed is that the calculator gets "stuck". I change the DPI but it doesn't convert the in-game sensitivity. Then it sorts itself randomly. And another thing I've noticed is that the calculator tries to guess my screen resolution based on my browser's zoom level. It's quite annoying and I'm not sure if it's messing with the calculations.
  3. Hey, I'm also pretty confused about the Notes where it says: "To calculate aim sensitivity with Uniform Soldier Aiming, you need to enter the scaling coefficient and/or the base sensitivity." Do we enter our GstInput.MouseSensitivity or the coefficient number we are using in-game or a multiplication of both?... even though right below the notes say to set the coefficient to 0: "Also make sure the following values are set: GstInput.SoldierUniformAimingCoefficient 0"
  4. BO3 mouse movement is like wading through molasses. You feel like you have to fight against it. Something to do with the fact that the mouse responsiveness is tied in to your FPS. I don't know the nitty gritty but that's what I've read.
  5. Yes pretty sure BF3 ADS sensitivities are affected by FOV, but not the hipfire - the same as in BF4. The calculator doesn't say it but pretty sure that's the case. However, if you want the perceived sensitivity to be the same you need to make sure the FOV is also the same when calculating turning rate. That's why you should utilise the "convert monitor distance" option in the calculator. This video is great at explaining why and how to do it:
  6. Hey, I have some questions: Does a higher count per movement ratio affect a game's performance (FPS)? Don't you have to render more frames since there are more counts? Does that mean counts are kind of the same thing as frames? And does the game skip counts it can't render... actually, is it even possible to have more counts than you can render?
  7. How are calculations going for 16:10?
  8. I just want to point out that the in-game sens affects both your hipfire and ADS but the FOV only affects your hipfire sens. And also, different gun types have different ADS sensitivities. My tip for getting your settings right in this game would be to: 1) Manipulate your in-game sens until ADS is correct 2) Manipulate your FOV until hipfire is correct You would have to do this for every gun type though. For me my Hipfire is about 30cm/360 and ADS for most gun types (AR, SMG, LMG, Shotty, Pistol) is about 50cm/360.
  9. Okay, makes sense. I don't know how you go about calculating all these things. I would like to learn actually - can you tell me? It would be easier if developers gave us the sensitivities cause they now exactly how they created the game.
  10. How come there is not an ADS option for this game (and all the other CoD games)? Also, for Black Ops 2 in particular, the FOV actually affects the ADS sensitivity, which is why it would be helpful to have options for all the different sensitivities on each gun or type (I can't tell exactly), just like in BF4.
