how can I calculate my sens based on the FOV so that it feels the same (does not have to be the same 360 distance)?

My convertet sens (from r6) is 3.5 in battlefield at 800 dpi. But if i am converting to 400 dpi my battlefield sens is 10.4. But why isnt it 7 at 400 dpi? Sorry for bad english.
