  1. I'm hoping someone here can please help me with this I play BF4 and CS:GO at 16:9 / 1920:1080, and I have matched mouse sensitivities for both games. However, I am not sure which FOV to set in BF4 to make it identical with CS:GO... In BF4, do I set my FOV to: 74 Vertical (90 Horizontal), OR 90 Vertical (106 Horizontal) in order to match it with the CS:GO default FOV? Ultimately, I want my hand 'muscle memory' when playing CS:GO to be identical to BF4, and I know that FOV does effect sensitivity. I'm hoping DPI Wizard or any other wizard/ knowledgeable respondent can please help me Thanks a lot guys! P.S - I have Uniform Soldier Aiming set in BF4 which makes ADS sensitivity identical to hipfire sensitivity for those who were wondering...
  2. Hi, I'm playing stretched, and realized I wanted to do a 40:27 aspect ratio (1600x1080) stretched on a 1920x1080 monitor, because that's the only way to get 96 FOV in CS:GO. 96 is what I've started using in other shooters, for some reason. Now, to make the vertical sensitivity also correct when stretching, the Counter Strike community change m_yaw from the default 0.22, using this formula. [(40/27)/(16/9)]*0.022 = 0.018333 How can I convert my 360 sensitivity in Overwatch (2.08 @96 FOV, 1920x1080) to Counter Strike (X.X @96.025575 FOV, m_yaw 0.018333, 1600x1080)
  3. Could 16:10 aspect ratio be added to the calculator? I'd love to know what FOV that gives me so I can compare it to Valorant.
  4. Hey guys! Today I bought Kovaak's aim trainer to practice for my games. I mainly play CSGO so i calculated from CSGO to Kovaak's. As I wanted to calculate my sensitivity I realized something was wrong when the calculator got a different result for a 360 turn (in CSGO) than reality. In reality a 360 turn takes 56 cm (22 inches), in theory it should be 14.43 inches. My settings: 0.7 sensitivity, 1620 CPI, 1000 polling rate, raw input on, no mouse acceleration, 1280x1024 stretched. Any help would be appreciated! Something interesting I noticed: with the same settings it takes 14.43 inches in Kovaak's to do a 360, just like in theory.
  5. I'm trying to figure out how to convert CS:GO sensitives with a 3440x1440 res and 16:9 ratio. Normally I've just left the calculator at it's default settings plugged in my info and took it for granted that it was giving me the correct information, but I thought I'd check and make sure. Is the FoV for this calculated automatically based on res? Do I have to select the Hdeg 16:9 from the dropdown for this? What about all the other FoV options? Why are they there? Ideally I want to convert my sensitivity in CS:GO to Overwatch (103 with 21:9) so I can correctly practice on CS:GO workshop maps and apply them to Overwatch. Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to do this correctly? Also, sorry if this has been asked before. I tried to search for information on it but couldn't find any.
  6. I am new to mouse sensitivity and this calculator. I am not even sure if I do everything right. I tried to follow instructions but mouse in battlefield and skyrim didnt felt same for me, but that is off topic. My question is how to set up mouse sensitivity on 15 inch macbook pro to match feeling from windows 24 inch aoc monitor. from time to time i want to play on laptop for diffrent reasons. I done this on calculator but dont understand what I am doing wrong. on my desktop I do have 1920x1080 24inch monitor on my macboko pro I play in 1440x900 On desktop I use deathadder and on macbook pro i do use orochi. On desktop mouse is on 1200 dpi Can somebody write step by step tutorial how to set up my orochi to have a same feeling?( apart from diffrent shapes of course) what dpi should be on mac? P.S. Is there a way to remember in calculator diffrent profiles for diffrent games? Can I convert 10 games and remeber settings for all of them or do I have to type evertyhing from beginning?
  7. The converter uses 90 as default FOV and in the notes it says that you have to use the fov_cs_debug in the FOV field to get correct calculations. This is wrong however. You have to put 75 in the FOV field since that is the game's default FOV(and max FOV). My 360 rotation distance is 48cm, ingame sensitivity is 2.3 and DPI 450. I get these numbers from the calculator only when the FOV is set to 75. When it's 90, it says that my ingame sens is 1.9 which it isn't. The fov_cs_debug is 90 by default but you shouldn't use it in the converter.
