Battlefield 2042

DPI Wizard
Hipfire is added, more aims are coming. Sensitivity is not the same as in BF1/BFV!

The result will be the same for each scope you configure, so technically there's no difference. But it's a lot easier to just set the coefficient to 0 and zoomsensitivityall to 0.888877. This way you can leave all the scopes at 1.

Ah, that makes sense. I was leaving zoomsensitivityall at 1 and changing every scope sense to 0.888877, which was a bit of a pain but is what the default calcuator results showed. This'll make things easier to tweak if I change fovs - thanks for the help 👍

I'm trying to calculate my Zoom sensitivity from BF2042 to Modern Warfare 2. I have it on 50% in BF2042, and would like to have the same ADS speed in MWII. Anyone knows how to do this?

Can you post all your BF2042 settings? All sensitivities, FOV, resolution, DPI, USA settings, ADS FOV settings etc.

12% Sensitivity,  Soldier zoom sensitivity 50, 90 FOV, USA ON, ADS FOV on, 800 DPI. All Scopes are on 100%.

Whats the USA coefficient?

Trying to figure out how to use this calculator correctly, I have premium but it is hard to understand since the settings in game don't quite match terminology used here

I am 99% sure both my WZ2 and BF2042 settings that I have to manually input in the calculator are correct but in game they are far from my Warzone 2 settings which I can easily test by changing the rotation degrees of my different scopes and hipefire when moving the distance of my mousepad

Do I need to delete the numbers in between that say 1.000000?

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1 1.000000
GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity10x00 1.000000
GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x00 1.000000
GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x25 0.379406

If you mean these:

GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity2 1.000000
GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity3 1.000000
GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity4 1.000000

Just leave them as is, they are not in use.

When I BF2042 to use Uniform Aim and Coefficient 1.33 my x1-2 (not sure which it is in game) scope is somewhat correct but then my 4x is incorrect, did this by using in game settings instead of config

I assume the calculator works correctly but there is something I am missing?

The config file should work better if set correctly, but you need to pay attention to all the values and get them in the right spots.

Converted my Battlefield V settings across to 2042 and noticed all my zooms are much slower. Hipfire is fine.

Looking at the calculator for 2042 I noticed the 360 distances for all scopes (1x25 and up) are much larger than what the calculator shows for Battlefield V and Battlefield 1.

E.g. for  GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x25
BF2042 = 71.8074cm vs BFV/BF1 both = 52.5265cm. Similar story across all other scopes.

Battlefield V

Any advice on why this difference is present?

Thanks

Hello there.
I originally come from CS1.6 and COD4. And I love how the ratio of hipfire to Kobra-sight (1x -> 50% of hipfire ???) behaves in BF3. But somehow I can't get this ratio to work. Either the hipfire matches and the ADS is too fast or the ADS speed matches and the hipfire is too slow.

In BF2042 I use the two 1.25x reddots most of the time and as a sniper the 4x optics.

My settings are as follows:

Screenshot2023-03-19at00-02-00MouseSensitivityCalculatorandConverter(2).thumb.png.53ef6498feeb2e3ead0ccea0475436c9.png

Here the hipfire fits and the 4x optics feel good with "Soldier Zoom Aim Sensitivity" at 50 (% ???). Whereas the 1.25 optics feel good on "Zoom Aim Sensitivity" around 60 - 80. How do I get this implemented accordingly?

Is there a difference if i turn off "uniform soldier aim" and use the respective values for "GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity" instead?

Screenshot2023-03-19at00-42-28MouseSensitivityCalculatorandConverter(2).thumb.png.45d68c51bf6f551aab1135a78dd1a41f.png
If not, could I simply halve the value for the 4x optics to achieve the same effect as with "Soldier Zoom Aim Sensitivity" to 50? Or correspondingly 0.6 times the respective value for the 1.25x optics?

So:

- "Uniform Soldier Aim" off
- "Soldier Zoom Aim Sensitivity" back on 100% (default)
- "GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x25" from 0.967057 to 0.5802342 (0.6 * 0.967057)
- "GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity4x00" from 0.717812 to 0.358906 (0.5 * 0.717812)

Set the scale for ADS to 50% and the scale for Scope to 60%. This will affect all ADS and all scope of course:

Is it possible to match this game with Warzone 2.0 legacy ads sensitivity? Nothing feels right.

I can match low zoom to hipfire 1:1 by putting zoom sensitivty ratio to 162 but then higher zoom optics feel off.

Can you share what you have tried using the purple share button?

What are your ADS Sens. Multipliers in MW, all set to 1?

All set to default since 'ADS legacy MW' with ADS FOV affected does the exact scaling I want automatically.

All low zoom optics are 1:1 with my hipfire, the rest feels natural but I don't know the technical stuff behind their scaling method or how to transfer it to other games.

Ok, it might seem a bit counter-intuitive, but what you have to do is to set the FOV in MW to 65 Hdeg 4:3 for the conversion, since this is the actual source Legacy MW uses. This way all the ADS sensitivity for MW is calculated to 1 as you can see, and the scopes in BF2042 will perfectly match them. Note that I've also set the "Soldier Zoom Aim Sensitivity" to 200 for the scopes to be in range.
