I'm not exactly sure what happens, but when I send counts to do a 360, it ends up at a different spot every time. Kind of like acceleration, but it's all over the place.

Even if I just send one small packet of for instance 10 counts, it moves a different distance every time also. So it's quite obviously major issues with how the mouse input is interpreted.

I'm doing 360 counts for hipfire and I'm getting differences as well. When you tested hipfire was it also messed up?

Hi DPI Wizard. I want to use exactly 103 horizontal FOV with SWBF2, but the config file doesn't use traditional angle units for its FOV. It seems like the file uses vertical degrees in radians but with an arbitrary multiplier of.

1.041741446

The vertical degree radians that I would need would be

1.231029591*
1.041741446

=

1.282414546

Then I just enter 103 Hres in the calculator and convert 360/cm for the game. However I'm not sure if my FOV is correct. Can you please check for me? Sorry about this terrible formattingbf2hipfire.thumb.PNG.2aca653457e3593d59b902f0a76a8940.PNG

Would you lmk when u get the answer?

I converted Overwatch sensitivity to Battlefront 2 mouse sensitivity and zoomed sensitivity. To double check the result i converted the result for battlefront 2 to Battlefront 2 Zoom sens, see pic 2 bellow for reference. Why do i get a different result? How can i get 8 at 400 dpi from Overwatch to Battlefront 2 mouse sensitivity and zoomed sensitivity 61 fov at same dpi? For now i'm using the result from pic 1 for battlefront 2 all sensitivity (soldier and Zoom). For now my final result is OW:8 at 400 dpi = 0.033013 Sensitivity, 1.099044 Zoomed (Sniper DLT).  I'm i doing this wrong again?

What is the exact = sensitivity, and Zoomed sensitivity for 8 Overwatch at 400 dpi to battlefront 2? Is this result correct: 0.033013 Sensitivity 1.099044 Zoomed (DLT)? because when i do overwatch to all i get a different result , see 2.png as reference.

Any comment?

Just wondering if third person option will be made available just like the PUBG calculator since this game also has both (1st and 3rd person) option.  Also is the default calculation 1st or  3rd person?

It's for 1st person. I need to check if it's the case, but if the FOV is the same for 1st and 3rd person the calculations will be the same. So no need for a separate entry in that case.

PUBG has dedicated 1st and 3rd person options because FOV is locked in 3rd but not in 1st.

I am asking because I only play this game in third person and I believe majority of players do as well, I might be wrong.  If there's a difference, I would love a seperate option for 3rd person, thanks in advance.

Just checked now, and the FOV is the same for 1st and 3rd person so there is no need for a dedicated 3rd person calculator.

This game still has horrible acceleration/smoothing issues though. Quite a feat considering it's based on one of the best game engines available...

Thank you for double checking.  I assume the vehicle calculation isn't in there still because of the acceleration/smoothing issues, if that's the case, that's really unfortunate, back to using gamepad for it.

Correct, since it's based on Frostbite 3 I was able to deduce the hipfire and aim sensitivity since it's related to (but not the same as) Battlefield games. Vehicles are generally a lot trickier since they usually have a built in negative acceleration or max turn speed etc, so with the added smoothing and acceleration already present it makes it really hard to analyze.

Why does star wars battlefront 2 only go up to 85% zoomed for multiplier 1 in game in the calculator? I have mine set at 100% in game and when i enter 100% in the calculator it says the maximum is 85%?

It used to be limited for some reason, but it works properly now so I've updated the game :)

Hi DPI wizard im having trouble getting my apex legends ADS values to match over to battlefront 2 , Battlefront 2s ADS just feels all over the shop and not based on like a 1.1 with your hipfire based on your fov

My apex settings are 100 FOV ( so 83-84 BF 2 FOV ) 2 ingame and 600 DPI and ADS is set to 1.0 its fine when i play games from EA that have uniform soldier aim

Amazing work first of all, DPI Wizard! So glad that there may finally be an answer to my BF 2 mouse frustrations.

My apology if I missed this in your instruction, but where can I enter the in-game slider sensitivity % in your calculator? Basically if I use the number from the text file to find my ideal sensitivity to replace that, should I just leave the in-game slider default (50%)?

Also, was curious to try the "turn down in-game sensitivity and turn up dpi setting" method someone suggested for the mouse acceleration issue fix. So wondering if I turn that down to maybe 1%, how can I convert that to the appropriate dpi to get the same cd/360?

Thanks!

The in-game value is directly linked to the config file value, so it's enough to just set it in the config file.

Use the calculator like this to convert from old to new DPI. The values in this link are just examples, use your own values :)

Thanks! will give it a try when I get home.

"The in-game value is directly linked to the config file value, so it's enough to just set it in the config file."

So if I make changes in the config file, the in game % would also change, and vice versa right?

just tried out a config of about 0.004 sensitivity with 4000dpi. Felt good but navigating the game menu after a game feels like I am on drugs lol.

On the topic of matching my hipfire with ADS/Scope. If I didn't come from Battlefield, would you still think 75% would be a good number to start with? And I am assuming Scale is to be left at 100% right?
