Just tested now, and no. It still reads the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Unreal Engine\Engine\Config\UserInput.ini file and applies the bEnableFOVScaling variable from it. This folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Unreal Engine\) can safely be deleted or renamed as far as I know, it's not used for anything.

That's under the UnrealEngine folder, not Unreal Engine. The space makes a big difference :)

Hi, I apologize for the bad English.

To get the perfect sensitivity ratio between Kovak and Apex (x1) I have to

1)check for a buggy ini file(I find only this)

2)Calculate identical fow

make calculations and match games

Did I do everything right? I could not find a buggy file with that name even through UltraSearch....

thanks for the help

That's the wrong folder, it's "Unreal Engine" not "UnrealEngine". If you don't have the "Unreal Engine" folder you're fine :)

This is correct yes.

@DPI Wizard  Hi,I have 16:10 aspect ratio in Rainbow Six Siege. If i want mimic iron sight ,am I doing this right?

But,I see spoit (famous R6 gamer) has the different setting in kovaak who has the same R6setting as mine

if you do stretched in r6 you can put in the stretched res / aspec ratio as your resolution in this calculator instead of using 1920x 1080 (which is 16;9 )

you'd just put 16;10 (or a res  that fits )in the respective field

siege lets you believe that what you are using is still 1920x1080 through its settings , that isnt the case

[in the long run you are better off not copying  settings, pro settings dont make pros good its hours and time that makes them masters ]

{i tend to recommend following the psa method ,then using the result here and transfer that hipfire value to all games + scaled ads method out of the 20 more or less viable options you will find here, but well in the end it is really up to you }

Hi DPI Wizard,

Hope all is well man.
Would it be possible to add the Valorant settings to  KovaaK's FPS Aim Trainer (similar to APEX, Quake etc..)?
It was added recently and would be very helpful.
Thank you very much.

Anything please?

Are you sure?

Because when i make a convertion in calculator i get differen result (a bit faster)

Sorry, I was referring to this:

Kovaak might be doing things differently depending on your scenario, what exact scenario and setup are you using?

The game indicates this formula in the tooltip to the Zoom Sens Auto Scale checkbox, but it obviously does not calculate using this formula. I don't understand what the scenario has to do with it, it is noticeable in all scenarios when trying to convert the sensitivity of a hip fire to ADS.

empirically, I found out that if we multiply the Zoom Sens Multiplier obtained from the calculator when calculating by the monitor distance vertical 0% method by 0.75, then we get the multiplier value just giving the sensitivity that the game sets in the Zoom Sens Auto Scale mode. What could be the reason for this phenomenon?

Hi!

I have problem with Kovaaks ADS/Scope  sensitivity. I'm using sens and FOV from Apex and would like to convert Kovaaks sens into Apex (standard (hipfire) sens is 4.57 and I have problem with converting scope sens from Kovaaks to Apex)

Thanks in advance.

How exactly is your scope set up in Kovaak's?

The thing is that, I was using this "trainer" mode ,not "sandbox" in Kovaaks and when I go into settings, there is no option to even set up sens for scope, zoom or even ADS. When I was using this "trainer" mode , I really liked ADS sens there and wanted to convert it into Apex . I assume it is standard sens for ADS there with Apex settings apllied.

In sandbox mode I have 0.5 zoom sens multiplier, but it was never set up by me (default sens I guess)

EDIT: Ok, I just have discovered right now, that this "trainer" mode has option for setting up zoom sens multiplier and now it has 0.5 value.

That's a bit of the issue with Kovaak's, there's no universal scope sensitivity setting AFAIK. I used a specific Overwatch Widowmaker scenario for the calculations I think, but the settings will vary.
