Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)

Recommended Posts

@DPI Wizard under \Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare\players\config.cfg you are able to set a more accurate value then ingame i used my black ops 4 calculated aim down sight sensitivty "1.56968" without any problems would be cool if you could add a config option in the calculator

setcl 283349319 "10.3244" this is hipfire

setcl 1116474394 "1.56968" aim down sight

setcl 1878342628 "1.56968" aim down sight high zoom ?

Hi.
I'm trying to match my Fortnite sensitivity to Modern Warfare but the sensitivity in Modern Warfare feels way faster and the scope sensitivities feels way slower.
What am I doing wrong? My Fortnite mouse targeting sensitivity is 0.511, and my fortnite mouse scope sensitivity is 0.427. I set my Modern Warfare's scope sensitivities to 0.51

Try setting ADS field of view in cod settings to independent. Having it on affected barely zooms your scopes under 3x. Make sure you change it in the calculator too its on the right there. You could also try relative ADS mouse sensitivity over legacy.

Hello, I have weird mouse sensitivity issue. Sometimes after few games my "hipfire mouse sensitivity" (idk how to name it correct - just "looking without ADS") going lower and lower. I have to move my mouse more and more to make same 180 degree spin. Anyone noticed this strange mouse behavior ? I need to reset game / battle.net and all back to normal. I have checked all option in game - nothing has changed.

do we know what the FOVs of the various scopes are?

Although there is no independent scope sensitivity adjustment, I too would like all the different sights FOV values added. There is a whole bunch but they all fit into around 5 or 6 actual zoom levels I believe. You can test them in private games where everything is unlocked by default. Any chance @DPI Wizard?

does anyone know where can I put my right coefficient for the ads sensitivityin the config file ? I think it's encrypted...

Added config file calculations now. Make sure to set the config file to "read-only" after making the changes so the game doesn't overwrite it.

i wonder ... ads field of view independent or relative ?

I think the little bit of extra zoom independent gives you could be beneficial, usually I tend to prefer affected since the zoom can be a little jarring however I feel like the game is slow paced enough that it isn't really an issue. The ads time is so slow anyhow that you're not going between hipfire and ads as much as in previous games.

I've been playing a lot of gunfight so I've been using independent since I feel it's easier to get headshots with weapons like the ironsight k98 although I'll probably be going back and forth a bit before I can make a final decision.

I have a problem, the .cfg file doesnt save the values, when i start the game the config resets.

Also i have a question regarding the monitor distance coeficient setting in game, by default its 1.33, shouldnt that be calculated by the calculator settings? @DPI Wizard

The coefficient will be calculated based on your conversion setup in the calculator. The coefficient value will be a placeholder, so you need to delete any number you have entered there to see it.

As for the cfg file, make it read-only to prevent the game from overwriting it.

You have to checkbox "read only" in file properties.

Could someone help me transfer my pubg sens to MW? I’m looking for hip fire sens in MW.

Pubg: 800dpi 1440p 100fov everything 37

MW:800dpi 1440p 100fov

Also if I want my scopes in MW to feel similar to pubg scopes should I just keep the multipliers at 1.0 and just change coefficient to 1.78?

Thanks.

What "ADS Sensitivity Transition Timing" are you guys using?

I assume Gradual or After Zoom would be the best.

Immediately = Frostbite legacy style for old Battlefield players

After zoom = CoD legacy sniping style

Gradual = FOV transition based

id say the latter makes the most sense, but entirely personal preference.

I'm currently adding calculations a lot of scopes and noticed that the Legacy/Relative ADS sensitivity is bugged, it's always "Relative" and the coefficient is applied regardless of setting. Working on an update now.

Edit: Bugged in the game that is, not in the calculator!

(Well, technically also in the calculator since it doesn't correctly reflect how the game behaves.)

Just updated the game now.

  • Added all scopes I have access too.
  • Adjust rounding in-game to four decimals. You can enter four and it will apply correctly, but only two decimals are shown in-game.
  • Adjusted config file decimals to five, as it won't read any more.
  • Removed ADS Mouse Sensitivity algorithm selection (Legacy/Relative) as it is bugged in the game (relative is always active) and it doesn't bring anything to the calculation as legacy is (supposed to be) the same as relative with coefficient 0.

Correct. Do it in the config file and you will get it spot on:

Getting same values regardless of the ADS Field of View setting while using 0% coeficient in the calculator its fine?

Hi! trying to convert from Apex to COD like a bunch of others. Could anyone tell me if this is the best way to keep my cm/360 hipfire normal while still converting for scopes?  Because If i use "All w/ holo and 3.25x" it doesnt let me put my apex Mouse_zoom_scalar values in, so its probably not doing it right.

On another note, I converted my Apex values from my overwatch sens a while ago (which i dont play anymore), so not sure if converting from that would be a better metric or not?

Thanks fam

Well, I suppose that would explain why earlier I thought Legacy felt too fast for 0% when comparing by switching between Legacy and Relative at 1.00 ^^
