  1. So i'm using mm0% in apex legends and i have all my sights set to 1.0, Should I check the option that allows for the fine tuning of all the sights or leave it off (or does it not matter?) Im assuming it doesn't matter but i wanted to verify that before I mess the conversion up

Hey, when calculating the zoom sensitivity multiplier for quake champions, they added an option that is along the lines of "automatically scale zoom by change in focal length" basically making it so that it automatically converts using mm0%, my question is, do i have to change the zoom sensitivity from 1 down to 0.83 or do i just leave it at 1?
  3. MMV0% is the best possible method since it scales on the focal length. However as you mentioned the issue comes into play for low sensitivity players since the scopes get too slow. What i would recommend is obviously raising the visual sensitivity, aka your overall sensitivity or your starting games sensitivity. Also just note that you can still have incredibly good tracking since tracking is close to the crosshair, what they say when they mean by it's bad for large flicks, they're talking about flicks at the very edge of the field of view (or monitor however you choose to define it) or outside of your field of view. However you can obviously improve over time and have better overall aim thanks to the fact that you're matching your sensitivity almost perfectly through every aim type on every game on every scoped weapon. TLDR: raise your sensitivity on your main game and use mmv0%
  4. Hey, using MM0% (overwatch 103 fov 700 dpi 4/11 5.68 in game) and when i calculate to csgo i get different values scopes. I realize that the field of view is different and that's good (mainly talking about the sensitivity change between aug and awp) however when i calculate the hipfire again straight through csgo it tells me that i need to have zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse to 1 but when i set it to (all) from overwatch it tells me that the number value should be 0.818933
  5. Is it stretched or black bars, if it's stretched then there's no way to match the sensitivity through monitor distance matching but only by cm/360 match but even still your aim will be off for when you come back to 16:9 games because it messes up the perceived sensitivity.
  6. Hi, I'm using mm0% from overwatch to all other games now. When I put in the values for black ops 4 and its ads settings. (0.00 on the relative scale and the other values left at 1.0 except for hipfire which is obviously different) the sensitivity for certain scopes don't seem to translate or convert well. Example: The elo sight on the maddox rfb doesn't feel like it's matched at all. It feels faster than what it should be. My question is, is it just me or is it impossible to convert the sensitivity for every ads zoom level for this game? I just want to know if the conversion is actually because of the game or if it's just human error.
  7. Btw i use counter strike global offensive as my source game for all conversions. I'm simply wandering if the calculator is correct when it tells me to use a different value than 1.0000 when using a usa coefficient of 0%. Its also different for games like overwatch, for example instead of 37.89 it will say 37.92.
  8. So i should stick to just matching the hipfire for each game and then matching the ads or should i match the game straight from the other game. Example: Match counter strike global offensive to battlefield 4 including the ads or should i match the csgo hipfire to battlefield 4 hipfire and then refresh and put the input game as battlefield 4 and have it give me the default values for monitor distance match vertical 0%?

  10. You're absolutely right. You can certainly challenge yourself and learn how to develop good aiming habits and mouse control (which is why quake and overwatch aimers are insane at pretty much any sensitivity on any game)
  11. Choose what you find most comfortable and then match that sensitivity to other games. A good way to find if it works or not is how accurate you are when first trying it out, if you can do perfect 180's or you can hit targets/ track targets more accurately with that sensitivity than stick to it. The PSA method is a very good one to use in my opinion, sure your sensitivity will change if you change your setup, however it will give you the best sensitivity for you based on your setup.
  12. thanks for the detailed reply. i guess that makes sense. I will start using mm0% again as i have been struggling lately when trying to go back to 360 distance method, especially doing it considering how often i switch field of views and games in general.
  13. I'm not arguing against monitor distance match vertical 0% being the best way to convert. However, a lot of people say it's the best for building muscle memory fundamentally and i'm just curious as to why? I get that it matches your visual sensitivity through magnification change, but why is it better than cm/360 match? I would just like to know what the exact benefits are in real games, not just programs such as kovaaks and such.
  14. Pick your most aim based game (Quake, counter strike, overwatch) and then convert it to windows, then use windows for every other game. I'll leave pictures to help you with converting.
  15. You find your games exact field of view, and then get your exact cm/360 from your physical sensitivity in game. Then in "visual sensitivity quotient identifier" Plug in the exact fov and cm/360 along with the size of your screen. and it will calculate your visual sensitivity quotient, then just use that quotient and plug in your new exact field of view as well as the screen size again and it will give you the exact sensitivity, it's the same thing as mouse-sensitivities calculator but factors in screen size and more exact values of field of view and cm/360. here's the link to a simple website created by a friend of mine.   16. It's basically the exact same thing that monitor distance match 0% does except it factors things in such as aspect ratios and other things the calculator can't do. Giving a better result (or one that's more accurate anyway).

The idea is to get a good medium sensitivity for games that have a low vertical fov that way when you play a game like quake for example, the cm/360 will be higher and more "optimal" for it when using MDMV0%, but i can see kind of what you mean, it is a little tailored to the setup however if you're not going to change your setup then it's pretty good for finding what should be around comfortable.

That's why you use the PSA method for overwatch since it's likely going to be a medium sens or at least one tailored to your hand eye coordination without even warming up, then by using MDMV0% (or i like to use the drimzi method now since it's much more accurate and feels better to me) you will build the best possible aim with the perceived sensitivity. "He says how very low sensitivity is "exhausting", while the truth is that it becomes completely effortless after your arm gets trained to it. First off, the words "very low sensitivity can mean a whole new range of cm/360 depending on the person you ask but i'm assuming you're going by general assumption which would be 45cm-80cm. In which he's correct. Depending on the fov of the game, it could be annoying or tiring to sit for long periods of time just swinging your arm around when you could just get used to a faster sensitivity and be comfortable (which is what the entire purpose of the PSA method is).
  19. How is that bullshit? That's what a lot of overwatch pros and quake pros use. Then with mdmv0% you get low or high sens depending on fov and will match your sensitivity.
  20. @DPI Wizard I know, i'm using Monitor Distance match vertical 0%, so i expect it to be different in terms of the distance. I was wondering which one would be the correct choice for the better result because in the config it says to use 1.0000 in targeting but for in game it says to use 0.980.
  21. In game hipfire sens should be set to 21 in rainbow, aim down sights should be set to 56, have fun.

When i convert kovaaks to fortnite (kovaaks 90 vertical 1:1) (https://gyazo.com/fb527d6643098531e1e4015bf14e67b8) it gives me an in game value of 0.023 for hipfire, 0.980 for targeting, and 0.820 for scoped. however when converting to save file instead of in game and putting down the save file number (0.00563457346584) it gives me a target sensitivity of 1.0000000 and a scoped sensitivity of 0.8675257 (scoped assault rifle) which ones are the correct ones? especially confusing because of the difference between targeting between the config file and in game settings.
  23. I mean it doesn't really matter the field of view. If you're using cm/360, then it will always be a 360 on screen. Yes it refers to physical distance of your mouse movement. For example: One 38cm/360 swipe on my hyperx fury mousepad is a 360 in every single game no matter what fov i play at. But all cm/360 is good for is general spacial awareness. which is why a lot of people only use it for hipfire and use monitor distance match 0% for ads. As well as the fact that (obviously) if you matched 38cm/360 in a 6x scope on PUBG for example, it would be WAY too fast and your aim wouldn't be as good as it could be simply because you're only building muscle memory for that scope, so nothing transfers from another game or from that game to another game. (if that makes sense)
