  1. Oh I see thank you so much! Just out of curiosity, what would've happened if I did that conversion I was talking about? Was I that far off?
  2. So basically I got into aim training a few days ago cause I'm tired of being trash and losing gunfights when its a head-on 1v1 scenario! So I was looking around and decided to try aimlabs and for the most part passing my settings to aimlabs was easy, you just pick the game and do the exact same settings and you're good to go! The issue comes when you want to do specific trainings where you cant use ADS like ranked or voltaic or some tasks, cause in those you're locked to hipfire for some reason, and if the goal is to get better for siege, that's not at all what you want! As in siege the only time you use your hip is for some gadgets and that's basically it, everything else you do in ADS, so naturally, if you're practicing you hipfire in aim trainers, sure you might get better in the long run but it's by no means optimal since you're not practicing what you really want! So I was thinking that if I convert my ADS from Siege to Hipfire from aimlabs with monitor distance I should get exactly what I want, which is to use aimlabs in hipfire with the feeling and aiming of ADS siege. The reason I opened this topic is to check if this is the correct thought process to achieve what I want or not, and if not then how can I get my ADS from siege to hipfire from aimlabs properly Thanks!
  3. Ok so I'm back to update you guys on how things ended up, basically I tried changing the sens and the FOV like you guys said but it all felt really awkward so i kept the same setting and that was honestly what worked for me, I guess everyone is different when it comes to that cause people really complain about it but it felt fine for me The first thing you said to me in that old post is actually what ended up being the best solution @TheNoobPolice which was keeping the same setting and try to adapt Thanks everyone for your answers and your time!
  4. Basically what the title says, how do adjust my settings on my games to keep the same focal length? Do i change the sens or the fov? Do i just change the screen size on the calculator? I heard that you need to upscale the send when moving to a bigger screen but according to the calculator i need to downscale which seems weird Don't know if it's needed but for reference these are the games I'm currently playing: -Deep Rock Galactic -Battlebit Remastered And these 2 sometimes: -GTFO -Overwatch 2 I've kind of asked this on another topic before but that ended up turning into a discussion of Rainbow Six more than anything and I just stopped getting responses either way But on that topic someone was talking about changing the FOV to keep the 360 but they were talking about CSGO, I wonder if it's the same for other games
  5. @fortunate reee ok so update, ive been messing around with the sens and the calculator, and ended up going for 101 FOV on BBR for the least amount of discreapancy (people say to go for values between 90-110 and 101 feels pretty good) also i matched the 360 sens to ow2 for the movement and then matched all the scopes with the vertical monitor distance with the hipfire i got from the 360, so i get the best of both worlds, i get the same 360 for easier movement between games and i get a good focal length matching for all the scopes which is where it matters, the actual shooting i could be absolutely wrong about this but i think its right cause i tried the 360 macthing and the hipfire was good but the scopes were too slow then i tested the monitor distance vertical and the hipfire was way too high but the scopes felt good then i tested the 360 with focal lenght in aspect ratio and it was the nice hipfire for the 360 but the scopes were even slower and finally i took the good hipfire sens (46) and used it with the vertical for each single ads/scope and got a nice feel to all of them am i right for thinking about this this way? it feels like the right way to do things but i could be wrong as i dont understand much about all these calculations and different values of focal lenght etc
  6. yeah that makes sens to normalize movement between games i thought i should've been using 100%, why 0%? they calculate fov in a different way so for me to get the same FOV i would've to lower the BBR one way too much and wouldnt be able to see much so i dont think i will be able to do that i was using 103 on Overwatch and 90 on BBR, but if i need to match them i would have to go for 70 on BBR which way to low im not a fan of the black bars at all but when i tried that option it gave me the same values if i had picked the monitor distance option i wonder which one is closer to the 1:1 aim between the games but the focal lenght matching might be the best one in terms of keeping the same feel i would assume look: with this i get this with this i get this but with focal lenght matching on the aspect ratio like you said, i get this
  7. @TheNoobPolice honestly you know what, I might just change it to 16:9 to be consistent across the board with all my games, I don't intend to go pro so the slight advange I might have its not worth all this trouble and changing my aim for this specific game compared to the rest so yeah lets work this out with 16:9 which should make things a whole lot easier aswell
  8. Hey guys, I was converting my sens from Overwatch 2 to BattleBit Remastered and I was wondering if I should use the hipfire 360 matching or the vertical/horizontal matching The results of the converstions are vastly different, which one is the better one to keep the same "feel/muscle memory? And why are ADS and Scope always matched by Vertical? why does the hipfire come as default on 360 distance? shouldn't vertical be the best for everything?
  9. Hum, what would be the difference? which one do you advise? I could consider switching to 16:9 but in siege, playing 16:10 or 4:3 gives you a significantly easier time with headshots so im reluctant to go back just for the sake of this
  10. Oh damn, that's really fucked I don't even know what to say The reason I'm asking for this is because in overwatch (and most games in general) you shoot/aim in your hipfire state, but in siege you don't use you hipfire to shoot, you always aim/shoot when you're ADSing So my thought process was, if I need to match my "sens" to be the same between games I need to go for the ADS sens since that's what I want to feel the same as the overwatch hipfire since those are the game's states where you aim and shoot, there's where the "muscle memory" needs to be Although now that I am thinking about it, maybe a good way to go at this would be to match Siege's Hipfire to Overwatch Hipfire, and only after, try match Siege's ADS to Siege's Hipfire Since we're going hipfire to hipfire i might have some more trusty results no? And then making my aim be 1:1 inside Siege might be easy since they already have implemented in game 1:1 between all sights with crazy differences in length from each other, so adding hipfire matching to that might be cake I think no?
  11. Ok so let's go to the root of the problem, how should I convert my OW2 hipfire to R6S ADS to keep the same feel, since it's hipfire to ads i might have messed up something I'm saying ADS cause that's where you shoot, hipfire on siege it's only for movement so it doesn't need matching, ALTHOUGH IF it needs to be matched for a better conversion accuracy it's cool
  12. That's what I've been saying from the start, hip fire doesn't matter that's why I only care about the ADS vs ADS values, my ADS in siege is my normal hip fire in Overwatch I'm sorry what? Did I do something wrong here when I was matching the OW hipfire to Siege ADS? I only put de ADS sense to 38 cause that's what the calculator said to do, like I said in the start haven't played siege in a long time the values i have there are conversions from OW2 hipfire (my current main game) to Siege ADS and not to hipfire as that doesn't matter
  13. why did you make the conversion from ADS to Hip? why did you put the same resolution in both? sorry I dont really understand that conversion Shouldn't I be doing this instead? or am I going at this wrong? Cause like you mentioned before and what I want matched is the ADS not the hipfire, the hipfire its gonna be changed later on to match the needs as its only used to traverse around and not shoot Sorry I'm troubling you so much with this, I just really wanna get things right
