Traxilla reacted to ProuDBeasT in i'm using a new sens almost everyday...any tips to find your sensitivity?
    Hi!
There's a user ( @TheNoobPolice) that I think that explains it very well. The main takeaway that I've got from him (I might be wrong interpreting his view) is that we all have a level of aim skill and we improve it overtime, regardless of the sensitivity we choose. The thing is that when we get used to a certain sensitivity, our aim with that sensitivity is basically the reflection of our own level of aim skill (in contrast, when you change your sensitivity, there's an adaptation period until you reach your aim skill level again -note that in this process you might still improve that base level-). This goes to say that you should probably avoid being in that adaptation phase and your "perfect" sensitivity is the one that you are used to the most.
Now, if you want to change your sensitivity (and then stick to it), I've seen that it's usually recommended to go with a 360º distance ranging from 20 to 40cm/360º, give or take. It doesn't really matter which one you choose within that range as long as you feel comfortable and stay consistent, as you'll get to your actual aim skill level after adapting to it.
Another aspect to take into account is desktop and ADS scaling. I'd suggest to go through all the games that you usually play, then see which one has the worst sensitivity settings and adapt to that one; e.g. I love playing Destiny 2 but it has a very limited FOV and hipfire sensitivity sliders, and the ADS scaling doesn't allow to set MDV 0%, so I decided to match everything to 100.8 HFOV (the maximum FOV available in the game) and MDH 100% (which is the only option that actually makes sense for me in that game). When you've done that, look for an in-game value that gives you a sensitivity that's between 20 and 40cm/360º (more or less) and convert from that to everything else. Alternatively, you can select a desktop sensitivity (DPI) that gives you your desired 360º distance when converted from desktop to game, so that you always stay consistent.
I'd also like to point out that you can also adapt to any MDV/MDH % if you use different zoom levels in aim trainers, so, although MDV 0% is objectively the most reliable conversion method, if your base game doesn't support it, it's probably not that big of a deal, as long as it supports at least one logical ADS scaling method.
This might be what you need, but there's a lot of possibilities, so maybe someone else can give you an advice that fits you better.

Added a lot more scopes now!
Still some more to do but let me know if you find a scope with a scope power from the list that doesn't seem to match. I think there might be some 4x24 that are in fact different from each other etc, still looking into it.

i understand that is a grind and also understand the way the game works that we get different pixel ratios with different sights and scopes, i dont intend to be an asshole or be annoying demanding things, i think a lot of us that use the calculator could use the calculator just for some of the "most" used sights and/or scopes and be done with it, the devs are supposed to fix the problem with uniform sensitivity and i understand that is not fair to make you calculate every single sight and scope because of the incompetence of the devs of the game.
maybe check the calculation for some and be done with it.
    sights: pk-06, P1X42, Eotech 553 ( i think those 3 sights have the same fov/pixel ratio/feel).

scopes: ELCAN Specter DR 1x/4x, HAMR 4x24mm, EOtech Vudu 1-6.
at least for me, i just need the calculation for the pk-06 bc i prefer use that and deal with higher/lower sensitivities in other sights / scopes as i play, but i want/need the same hipfire/ads sens for guns with a pk-06 and start adapting from there to play the game with a little more confortable/known mouse movement.
    thanks for your work.

I don't know if this is directed at this site and me or the devs of the game, but when they do a full wipe and change everything requiring a quite dedicated grind to get everything back AND analyse it... It will take time. There's over 500 games here now, imagine just a fraction of them doing this. While this game is quite popular, putting everything aside to grind on a single game is not feasible. If you have any anger direct it at the devs of Tarkov who seemingly have no idea how to implement aim and scope sensitivity.
Even if we get every calculation figured out now, it might change next week. Accompanied with a new wipe... A game in development is fine, but in a game where aiming is a key component they should get aiming figured out way quicker than this.
It's not that hard. You either add sensitivity for each available scope power, or you add a scaling that is linked to the scope FOV. Right now they have scopes with identical FOV that have different sensitivity. This makes absolutely no sense, and it seems like they are just randomly assigning sensitivity to scopes.

Alright. Might've been placebo from my side, thank you!

Also on a side note. I can get you pretty much anything you need ingame, so if theres something you need just send me a DM

Fairly certain hipfire and 1x ads sens has changed aswell. Seems like the sensitivity is higher than usual

Last i tested it, the sensitivity didn't change with armor, i just went in the other day to test if the sensitivities are still off with the different ironsights, which they are. But i don't think they implemented armor changing sens...

If that gets implemented i'm not gonna play the game.

Fuckin hell, i even wrote in that post. One thing i hate is the people that use the "Realism" excuse for mouse mechanics... It's ridiculous

    Half right.
If you play game A with a hipfire FOV of Hor+ 110, but Game B only has a max possible hipfire FOV of Hor+ 90, the hipfire sensitivity will feel faster in game B if you match the 360 distance.
You can either set the exact same FOV and use 360 distance between games, or use Viewspeed or a Monitor Distance percentage..
Turn rate is NOT sensitivity, at least as far as aiming / muscle memory is concerned.

Hey! 5 year Osu! player here in the top 200 ranks.

I don't know all that much about how the mouse movement works in osu, however i do know that if you have 6/11 in windows and 1.0 ingame the mouse sensitivity should be the same as on the desktop regardless of the resolution, unless the game is ran in fullscreen mode. Most players use windowed mode and instead of changing mouse sensitivity they change resolution or DPI of their mouse so the pixels moved stays the same as on their desktop
