It's already unlocked for the aim called "Hipfire (sv_cheats enabled for FOV change)" in the config file location.

Sry, I mean unlock the fov settings in the calculator

It unlocks when you select this aim. Or do you mean something else?

It's locked for the other aims because so incredibly many people type in the viewmodel FOV as FOV which messes up the calculations.

So, I want that I can input the fov value in calculator when I select Hipfire.

Right now, it's locked to 90 as the image shown

hello Wizard, I want to change my res from 1280x960 streched to 2560x1440 native since CS2 lanched, so which FOV type should I use for 2560x1440 native? Hdeg 16:9?

And if I want to calculate sens from CS2 to other games with res 2560x1440, what FOV Type should I choose for CS2?

Thanks in advance.

FOV Type is only related to what the game uses to calculate the actual FOV, it's not relevant to the conversion or your aspect ratio. The only important metric for the conversion is the actual HFOV or VFOV. As CSGO is locked to 90 Hdeg 4:3 (unless you have cheats enabled), you don't need to change this based on your aspect ratio.

If you want to convert from 1280x960 stretched to 2560x1440 the only choices you have to make is if you want to match the horizontal or vertical sensitivity, and how you want to match them.

For vertical there's no difference, since only the horizontal axis is stretched. So the vertical sensitivity is identical in both cases. For the horizontal you have to decide if you want to match it based on 360 distance (which would be the same), monitor distance vertical 0%, 133.3333% or monitor distance horizontal 100% etc. Which one feels best is down to what you prefer.

no fov slider, no resolution scale, no in game coeffcient slider, no fun :D

i cant stand this 90 fov 4:3, it gets worse if you play 27 inch or more, sure maybe its fine sitting on your couch.

motion sickness playing this game/valorant/overwatch :D

For Counter-Strike 2, essentially everything is as before, but game name and config file etc is updated.

While I was working on the video regarding Gyro/Flick Stick Angle Calibration: I frequency double check this website to ensure I got the sensitivity scale is accurate...but just now i've been informed by someone that Counter-Strike 2 has now moved the default sensitivity to 1.25 ("1.250000"), however: the website still says 2.5.

So, I went ahead and double check on my end...and it is indeed 1.25. I dunno if it's a developer oversight or the goalpost has been moved again...but regardless: Do you folks believe it warrants a updating the page to be accurate?

Whatever I do, my config file changes won't change the ingame settings. I have copied the settings in all possible files that contain the settings but nothing works, ingame it always remains 1.25 Sensitivity and 1 Zoom Sens.

Also I couldn't find "zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse", only "zoom_sensitivity_ratio"

The 360 distance should be exactly the same, but CS2 will "feel" faster because the FOV is lower.

The correct zoom sensitivity is now  "zoom_sensitivity_ratio" indeed, I've just updated it. And in the same file as you see this (cs2_user_convars_0_slot0.vcfg), you should also see the "sensitivity" variable. It looks something like this, and setting the sensitivity here should work:

I did, and when that didn't work I also changed the settings in the 2 other files that contains the config, Tho now I have fixed it my creating an autoexec.cfg file and placing the sens there.

Are there any updates on whether or not its still possible to turn on raw input for CS2?

I think it's always on now, I'll check.
