The Fov in game is Horizontal, can confirm.

Check the FOV notes in the game info ;)

The FOV in-game is a rounded value of the 4:3 hdeg FOV, the accurate vertical FOV is in the config file and should be set there for best accuracy.

If you choose to set the FOV in-game select "Hdeg 4:3" as FOV type.

Correct!, ty for the fast support and implementation :)

The default value for the USA coefficient in the menu has been changed to 100% vs 133% of vertical FOV it used to be.

I'm assuming they have actually changed it, it rather than just "renamed" 133%?

i.e Are scopes that change FOV still synced to 16:9 horizontal monitor distance of 75% by default?

The sensitivity is the same of BF 1 ? @DPI Wizard

Yes, all scopes at least. Haven't gone through vehicles yet.

It's just the default value that's changed, the USA value does exactly the same (i.e. 100% = 100% vertical monitor distance).

I do not know if you have to see that in battlefield 1 have 133% default, because in this game I notice everything very strange despite having the same sensitivity, fov and others, I can not find the point...

but the calaculator calculate with 133% should i set 100% there or  set in the bf config file 133%

When using the calculator I usually use 56.5% match for the monitor distance. Would I use 156% in Uniform Soldier Aiming?

still dont get it,

the fov in bf5 says default is 70 so i guess they went back to horizontal 4:3. In the calculator is it 55 vertical.

Also the USA coefficient is 100 in bf5. In they calculator 133. Should we set 133 now ingame settings?

The config file uses vertical, as stated in the FOV notes in the calculator:

Set the FOV in the PROFSAVE_profile config file, as the FOV in-game is a rounded value to the nearest 4:3 HFOV.

The default USA is 100 in BFV, it's just not updated in the calculator yet. Always set the value to the same as you have in-game.

Was going to wait for release to update them as they might change again, but think I'll do it tomorrow instead :)

I think there may be an issue with the calculator and BF V.

In BF 1 when you aimed down iron sights your FOV did not change (so my iron sights 360 distance was was exactly the same as my hip fire 360 distance). In BF V, when you aim down iron sights the FOV does change so my iron sights 360 distance is now higher/larger than my hip fire 360 distance; however, in the calculator it stills shows them as the same.

This is correct, the FOV type for ingame sensitivity was updated earlier to 4:3 hdeg FOV, but the formula for aim FOV still assume vertical degrees. Updating it now!
