November 9, 20187 yr Hi, for some reason, I can't change FOV using the config, im using the PROFSAVE_profile_synced file and using the Ctrl + F search command, its not picking up Gstrender.FieldOfViewVertical therefor I have to change FOV ingame and I don't know what value to set it to much my BF4 settings. in BF4 I set my ingame FOV to 90 so the config FOV is GstRender.FieldOfViewVertical 73.74. Therefore in BF V, do I set ingame FOV to 74? I'm also slightly confused with USA. I've set the coefficient to 233% since I'm using a 21:9 monitor, but my ADS sens doesn't perfectly match my hipfire sense although it is close enough to the point it isn't a problem with iron sights and reflex sights, however, I think the higher zoom sights/scopes I use, the bigger the delta will be in terms of 360/cm relative to my hip 360/cm. Should I keep the coefficient to 233 and just adjust each separate zoom sensitivity?

Still a couple of hours until Premier BFV launches here, but in the beta the FOV was in PROFSAVE_profile, not PROFSAVE_profile_synced. Regarding scopes and iron sight etc, I'll take a look when the game is out here. Join the community on Discord!

The config file says 90, I'm guessing then I should be changing that back to 73.74 to match my BF4 config FOV? As for all the sensitivities, it seems like its the same system from BF4 in terms of values. I just remember a post on their forums from one of the devs that developed the USA system and he gave us a formula for what our coefficient should be and to not touch individual zoom sensitivities, but I think that gave me a value of 256 and that didn't really work, yet someone else posted saying set your coefficient to match your aspect ratio, and doing that got my ADS sense very close to my hip sense. Shouldn't Premier access be available to you now? It launched yesterday and I'm assuming it would be a global launch regardless of region?

It is available yes, was just a countdown timer showing the premier only access for those who didn't buy the game I guess. Checking stuff now! Join the community on Discord!

Everything is basically the same as in BF4 and BF1. If you set the USA value to match your AR you'll get 100% MDH. But in 21:9 this might feel very fast, you might be better off using a lower value like the default 133. I've updated the FOV Type for in-game now, as they have changed it to Vdeg again. November 9, 20187 yr They also reverted USA back to 133% which makes more sense, so the default "sensitiivty 2" value in in the calculator might trip a few people up so best to change it to 1.33 again.

November 10, 20187 yr Hi, I just use the calculator to convert my COD4/csgo sensitivity to BFV But I felt it a bit slower than in COD4 Not sure if I did it correctly and csgo to cod is Monitor distance at 75% I use relative aim in COD4 Can someone help me with this ? Thank you

November 10, 20187 yr Im sorry i posted the wrong picture I guess this should be correct ? so I have to change all the zoom sensitivity according to this calculation and just turn USA on right ?( I used relative aim in COD4) and what is the difference between GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1 and GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x00 ? Thank for your help Edited November 10, 20187 yr by Howling

I think i may make everyone here confused , sorrry for my english I play cod blackop4 not modern warfare and want COD black op 4 sensitivity to be the same with BFV My fov in BFV is 73.74 (1920x1080) and my COD's fov is 90 (1920x1080) I use relative aim and I've selected monitor distance at 75% but ADS sensitivity in BFV is a bit weird (hipfire is almost the same) My cod sens is as the picture above So I just need to turn USA on and then change all the zoom sensityvity as it was calculated in the config right ? btw what is the difference between GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1 and GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x00 and so on .. November 11, 20187 yr I am setting the FOV in my config file to 70.53 which the calculator says is an HFOV of 103 but in game it says its an HFOV of 87. Anyone know what is up with that.
November 11, 20187 yr it shows HFOV at 4:3. not sure why they keep doing that, when even COD went away from 4:3 FOV sliders.

November 13, 20187 yr Sensitivity for Vehicule will be add in calculator ? @DPI Wizard or it's not possible actually ?
November 14, 20187 yr Hello there, My FOV is 113 in BO4 and I'd like the same in BFV. When I convert that in the calculator the VFOV value to type in settings of BFV is 81 to get a HFOV of 113 but when I set 81 in game the note in the right side show a HFOV of 97 not 113 So what is the value that I must put to get a HFOV of 113 in BFV ? Also, thanks for this great website !

November 15, 20187 yr If I use Monitor Distance 75% I get a lower sensetivity than if I use 0%? Is this right?

November 15, 20187 yr Did you make any updates? I swear the sensitivity changed since last time I checked today
