  1. Played this evening and input felt much better. I cant say what the issue was but with better servers input feels much smoother. It wasnt a high ping issue. It just felt.. weird Cant put my finger on it. Maybe like mouse smoothing ish.. kinda.. thingy..
  2. Am I crazy or does mouseinput feel weird in OW2? I mean its faster paced than OW but thats not it. Somethings weird. Input lag?
  3. Windows pointer speed relates the that 'some' distance moved for each count mentioned in the prior question. The reason 6/11 is accepted as the right setting for gaming is that here the multiplier for that 'some' distance is 1, and 1 x anything is itself so this means the data coming from your mouse to motion in non-raw input games is as if windows wasn't messing with the data (even if it is still adding a slight delay/packet loss which is why raw input is the better option). But 6/11 isn't the ONLY correct option as lots of places seem to state: here is the list of acceptable ones (this post has further correct options but they involve registry edits). Control panel notch: 6/11 --> 1x count multiplier 4/11 --> 0.5x count multiplier 3/11 --> 0.25x count multiplier 2/11 --> (1/16)x count multiplier 1/11 --> (1/32)x count multiplier Why are these valid options? Well you can multiply all the multipliers by a integer to get back to 1x because they're all fractions in the form 1/n What this means practically is that even with these options you'll never miss an equivalent spot where 6/11 would be correct, so no skipping. This means if you use a higher DPI for games to be more precise (skip less angles) but it means your desktop sensitivity feels too high for you, you can chose one of these options to get it back to a desktop sensitivity you'd prefer.
  4. I would recommend a more reasonable fov in Apex since going from 103 hdeg to ~123 is abit yarring (atleast for me) I would recommend something like this https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=5537974393f0f2cc0bf5994bc7a91a87 Then your 1x in Apex is the same as your hipfire in Pubg. It need some fiddling with in Apex config though
  5. I just meant that if u want the games to feel as close as possible pay attention to Actual HFOV and that they match up as in my link.
  6. Fix the discrepancy in fov though! https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=b6925fcfaace9aff219cd2cfa67edfee
  7. Been trying this method for a couple of days and i retract my previous statement that desktop sensitivity doesnt influence ingame. I've noticed a big jump in hitting shots in these 2 days and this is imo the best method i have ever tried. Thanks Jedi and good job! “The moment you become friends with your inner Self, you realize that the failures or hindrances that you met earlier were caused more by your disconnected status with your inner Being.”
  8. So if I want to try this I would match windows/desktop with monitor distance vertical 68 % to game?
  9. If u want to convert 0 % monitor distance from desktop to game it works splendid. I use the same conversion myself but with gorilla hand settings.
  10. Its whats matches your ingame sens the closest In my opinion when choosing sens you should start at something like 30cm/360 @ 90 Hdeg 4:3 and tweak from there. I however are built like a gorilla with huge and sweaty hands and cant aim well under 35cm 90 Hdeg 4:3 ^^
  11. I you want to convert games from desktop to 0% you could do something like this. Notice the slightly faster 360 and wps setting. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3bb7e65a9f13c3c979c5bed7f1dd1119
  12. In games where you can match the fov you will have the same 360 distance. Games like OW and Valorant that are limited at 103 Hdeg your 360 distance will be different since your base fov will be more zoomed in. If u check the "targeted fov" in the upper right corner the calculator will always try to match fovs if the game supports it.
  13. If u want the games to feel the same, change apex fov to 120 Hdeg.
  14. Your windows sensitivity hasnt anything to do with hitting with rifles in cs go. Practice ingame and let wps be whats comfortable. With that said, I checked my Desktop to Destiny 2 sens and it was almost exactly 68% =D
  15. I would say that theres no specific sens but more a range you feel comfortable in. Personally I scale sensitivity by the field of view (0% vertical) around 30-40cm/360 depending on how fast paced the game is and if it has a locked fov. I then practice the highest sens at the highest fov I feel somewhat comfortable with in kovaaks and feel this translates extremely well and is my best advice i can give
  16. 0% Is amazing if u keep the same fov and a reasonable high sens imo.
  17. It's not a feeling, it's more having "all my corners covered" since being able to flick 180 and still having about 90 degrees left to track is, imo, paramount in games like quake for instance. Less than that feels like im nerfing myself. Matter of opinion. I match all my games with 110 hdeg and games that are locked with 103 i go with focal length wich with a 27 inch screen isnt that big of a deal. But if going from 90 hdeg to 120 hdeg doesnt mess with your head then go for it. It shure messes with mine tho. But i guess this is "exactly wrong" Just wanted to post an idea wich works great for ME.
  18. I like being able to do a fast 180 degrees and have about 90 left to track, left and right, until i need to reposition my mouse. So I tuned my sensitiviy to being able to do a comfortable 540 degrees ingame with a full swipe left to right wich with my forearm length translated to 36.7cm/360. if my forearm where shorter or longer the sens would change. I also like to match hipfire fovs between games wich i feel helps alot with consistency. I also feel that matching windows to game with 100% horisontal and then game to game with 0% vertical works best for me pesonally.
  19. Yup! Might try 100 Mdh at some point but this feels so good i think ill stick to it
